My grad school set this day up for us where we would get in groups which consisted of people that we will be closely working with in the upcoming semester. Essentially they give you a task and you need to complete the task with your group. I don't want to give away too many deets, but these activities are really great since everyone is putting in their two cents about how to execute each task. Not only that but apparently you can ride quads, do an obstacle course, archery, and all sorts of stuff. What did we do? Let's just say we were rocket scientists trying not to set off a nuclear reactor and we were also deserted on an island so we had to build some shelter that could withstand extreme weather. Great place to go if everyone is up for the challenge and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful! It's a bit outside of London, but the drive through the countryside is quite refreshing.

The only points lacking where that the Yorkshire pudding was a little too well done and so was quite hard. Could have been more gravy too. Otherwise, I couldn't fault it. Solid roast dinner. The food isn't the best, but the surroundings are lovely and so is the pub. It's quite old and traditional, with an oak frame, and a lovely fireplace inside for those cold winter days, as well as a nice garden for those warm summer ones.
