Staff were very professional and helpful for my mom. She spent two weeks there for rehab after a hospital visit. It always seems that folks only share the negativity. I am not claiming that the facility is perfect. I believe most of the people are doing their best to take care of the patients. I could not do the job. Most of the time the staffing level seemed okay. I am sure they would appreciate more help. Glad that folks want to help out those in need. The RN and CNA that dealt most with my mom were awesome. Amy is one name. I can remember the other. Wish I could. My mom was able to go back to her assisted living facility to continue physical therapy. Thanks to Haven Health staff who helped make that possible.

Not sure if care can get any worse. I've been visiting my friend here. They're supposed to give the people showers once a week. She's been here 2.5 weeks and still hasn't received a shower. They've only helped her to the bathroom to brush her teeth once now in 2.5 weeks. It's supposed to be a physical rehab, but they don't do rehab on the weekends. Seriously! Don't think they're not charging the same ridiculous rate on the weekends, because they definitely are. The food is beyond terrible. The care is pretty much non existent. Some people are nice, but just not effective. I don't believe they have any real nurses here. They definitely don't have any doctors. They say they have doctors on call. I would say on call pretty much means they're gonna Google answers to their medical questions. Funny thing was Banner hospital tried to suggest this place. They gave a brochure that said this was a 5 star place. Look up reviews anywhere and you will see the truth about what people experience here. This is the the place off Swan rd. This person was here for a broken femur bone. She was a fall risk for sure. It took over a week to get them to put rails on the side of the bed. Everything about this place is a joke. A really bad joke.

I lived in Gilbert, Az but decided to take the drive out to Tucson az. Which was a couple hour drive . I got to my appointment , staff greeted me . Everyone was so nice . It was for an consult which I was nervous about and Dr Taki came in the room took his time to go over what I wanted and what he felt would work out for me . Answered all my questions also asked my fiancé if he had any questions and answered all his question . Was not in a rush . Told me the difference in implants etc . I was so comfortable and happy with the consult I decided to schedule an appointment for my surgery . Surgery was one of the most scariest but best experiences I've ever had . Every one of his staff made me feel comfortable , I express to them I was so scared and they all made me feel better by comforting me , I got out of surgery and still everyone was so nice and made sure I had what I needed to be ready for my ride home , we drove home as we reached our drive way a phone call from Dr Taki checking on me . Literally the best Dr I have had in my life . Best decision I made ! I got Breast implants that I love . I got them back in 2012 and they are still wonderful , I love them . I have referred a few friends from Hawaii and to have gotten breast implants from him and they also loved his work . I have since them moved back to Hawaii but want to return to Dr Taki to get another procedure done soon . I look forward to visiting this office again . It made no sense ! He'd have me drive down To tucson just to tell me to eat more fiber. I've seen 4 doctors for this and not only that the work on the outside it's like something out of a horror movie !!! Spend the extra money and go to someone else .

The groves is a nice place and my father has made the adjustment and now feels very much at home here. The thing that strikes me the most is the entire staff has done everything imaginable to ease my fathers transition into their care as well as our family's transition of placing him into their care. The grounds are behind locked gates, both my wife and I received keys and are free to visit 24/7. This is in sharp contrast to most other homes that have rigid limited hours of visitation. In addition this unlimited access gives us great peace of mind that nothing weird is going on after hours and that our family member is safe and having his needs met. When not providing resident care the staff is always busy cleaning or cooking and always seems to be on the move. The absence of the odor of urine at the front door is a tell tale sign that your loved one is being properly cared for. The floor plans are wide open and large, but still warm and almost cozy in many ways. Institutional residence Vs. jail would be a nice way of saying it. I had my father in independent living for many years and when the time did come that his ability to self care was over and the time was upon us to upgrade the level of intervention and assistance we toured over a dozen places before deciding on the Groves. It's a choice we are happy we made without regrets. The staff has been very helpful, and while all the staff has been exceptional, Jennifer in particular has been fantastic with my father. And Mary sets the standard of great care. I think the greatest fear we have in placing a loved one into a care home is that are we doing the right thing? I think the need to do the right thing over shadows our need for caution out of fear we might do the wrong thing. Both my wife and I are happy we have made the right choice in placing my father at the groves. My father has made it his new home and has adjusted well. We pick him up numerous times a month and go to breakfast, take him to his appointments and after granting them permission, he often leaves in his electric chair to get out and conduct his personal business. While everyone's need are different, our needs have been met and again we are very, if not extremely satisfied with our choice in placement as well as the care and interaction my father receives at the groves. I do wish it was easier to load my wheel chair bound father at the curb, but since the staff and the owners seem compelled to park closest to the building it force me to load him into a vehicle from the gravel areas Vs. at the sidewalk.

I was somewhat worried after reading some negative reviews in Yelp, but my experience was a good one. The staff were very cheerful, friendly and helpful, especially Nicole and Mila. Anytime I needed help, medication, or had questions, the staff quickly responded at the push of a button, day or night. The food was varied and generally good and nutritious. The kitchen gave us two options for our entree, and allowed us choices of beverages and dessert. We were given 2 showers weekly, along with plenty of towels and toiletries. The shower was clean and I never saw any cockroaches or other insects. My room was cleaned daily and my bed linens were changed twice a week in contrast. I had therapy in the facility gym twice daily Monday - Saturday. My two main therapists, Andy and Dave, were kind, patient, and helpful. My leg was non-wait-bearing, so they showed me how to use a walker with one leg, and taught me how to use a wheelchair to get around. They also demonstrated some "hacks" for getting around and give me a list of excises I could do on my own. Foothills Rehabilitation Center thoughtfully provided tv headsets on request so my roommate could sleep and not be disturbed by noise from my television. Finally, there is an activities center where residents can meet people, play games, have sing-alongs near the gym. The only down point was that it was quite cold in my room the first few days of my stay. However, I requested extra blanketsand I was fine from then on. All in all, I was extremely pleased with my stay there, and highly recommend the Foothills Rehabilitation Center.

I had heard…read morethe horror stories about this place, both in reviews and direct from previous patients, but it was the only facility my employer's insurance would pay for. The doctors here disregarded my prescriptions from my surgeon, deciding they could alter them without examining or speaking to me. As a result, my pain, which had previously been managed effectively, exploded. Rather than keeping me on a set schedule and receiving my three different pain medications simultaneously, they arbitrarily decided that I have to explicitly ask for each of them separately, at least an hour apart. They also lowered the dosages while increasing the frequency. This is especially problematic overnight, as I don't want to set alarms that will wake my roommate 5-6 times throughout the night, so I have to rely on my pain to wake me, which means I end up waiting too long between doses, which makes the medication less effective at controlling it. The nursing staff is rude and argumentative. They gave me a wheelchair that was cobbled together out of parts that don't fit or lock in place properly, and the thermostat is set to 78 degrees. The splints wrapping the lower halves of my legs were already causing me to be warm in the typically cold hospital. Here I'm sweating my balls off, but I'm somehow still supposed to keep my splints clean and dry? Don't go here if you have any other choice. EDIT: Every nurse here has a different set of rules as to what medications I'm allowed to take, and when. Every time there's a shift change, the new nurse tells me they can't do what the last shift insisted was how I had to do it. One nurse says none can be taken together, and there must be at least an hour between different meds. One says two can be taken together, and there must be at least two hours between doses in the rotation. One says I'm only allowed one of them every four hours. Nobody knows wtf is going on.

They came and said they would return with pain medication. They never returned. My friend eventually called 911. They came and took her roommate to the hospital. Later the staff was overheard saying that the roommate had refused her medication, which was not the truth. I came the following day because my friend said she had an upper respiratory infection. Given her existing medical conditions, this could be a serious problem. When I arrived, I told them I was there to pick her up and take her to the hospital. I was met with a great deal of opposition and bullying. They said she was leaving without their consent and therefore would not give her her medications. Then they brought a paper in to be signed which absolved them of any responsibility. My friend refused to sign it. They then said she could not leave without signing it?? They left to find the doctor. In the meantime, I loaded my friend and her belongings in a wheelchair and left. I took her to TMC. Her blood pressure was very low and her heart rate was in the 180's! She was diagnosed with the flu and fluid in her lungs which was affecting her heart. Had I not picked her up, this would not have been diagnosed or treated. If you have a loved one in this facility, they need an advocate or someone to act on their behalf. Horrible experience.
