I had called more than twice and spoke to management hoping they will address this issue and they say they will but I never got any resolution to this. This is sort of the shake shack of fried chicken, and I mean that in the best way possible. What shake shack does is serve a very high quality product in a fast casual setting and has very consistent quality. Specifically, they're a reasonably priced way to get an extremely delicious, crispy, juicy chicken sandwich. If I were served this sandwich at a fancier restaurant off their pub menu, I'd be thrilled with it. The idea that I can grab it in a fast casual setting is really cool. I heard about this place and also I saw pictures of the food on social media, that's why I made the decision to try it. The people that works there are really nice. The place don't have outside seating, we took our order to go. We ordered the chicken sandwich with French fries, portions are good. HHC is the brainchild of some local talented restaurant tours, including Jason Sobocinski of Caseus, Mikro, Texiko and Ordinary. It is clear that Jason and his team carefully developed the concept that hits all the high points: quality food and excellent service - all wrapped up in a slick package. My introduction to HHC was with their monthly special - Daym Drops, named after a Connecticut internet/youtube food personality. The special was a perfectly fried chicken sandwich done up with Korean barbecue sauce and kimchi coleslaw (bacon and pickles too). I ordered it as a meal combo and a side of corn salad. In a word: awesome! As you can see from the pictures it was huge. Easily the massive sandwich and huge helping of fries could feed two. The side of corn salad was my lame attempt to add a few vegetables to this heart attack in a box. The chicken was cooked perfectly. The barbecue sauce and crispy kimchi slaw made every bite delicious. This sandwich was so big the potato bun could barely hold it together! 5/5 - all day! The care in preparation, cooking and presentation is evident and undoubtedly transfers to every item on the menu. Unless you want to stand on the sidewalk waiting for your food, you really have to order online and the system is proprietary. It pushes you to make an account.
