I decided to get some estimates on Yelp and within a few minutes, I got a response from Myrtle. I made an appointment for the very next day. On my appointment day, I was lucky to get a call from Carlos to get a quote done earlier. He asked my budget and looked at the work needed to be done. I called Junk Removal for a quote to remove a heavy cement mixer off of my property. They set up a time so they could take pictures and assess the item and then give me a quote. I thought their quote was too costly and we renegotiated with a satisfactory price. I like the idea that they were flexible to make accommodations. We were so pleased with how fast, efficient and friendly the Hawaii Junk Removal crew were. I called about a week in advance, and was able to easily schedule an appointment to pick up some construction debris, yard/organic stuff and miscellaneous large/bulky household junk that wasn't easy to get rid of through the usual weekly C&C of Honolulu trash pickup. The crew arrived on time (and even early! The dispatcher called in the morning to ask if they could come an hour or two before our scheduled time). The crew arrived, and took all our instructions with what to take/not take with a smile. Made an inquiry for a quote late last night (Saturday). I was surprised to get a response in 5 minutes and was told I could schedule a pick-up for the following day! Their pricing was competitive, straight forward and with no hidden fees for time and distance, like some of the other quotes I received. The crew that came was super friendly and professional.
