Waikiki Bowl with a bit of rice
Blake P.

The staff is friendly as can be and the restaurant itself is a simplistic hole-in-the-wall that serves its purpose and gets the job done. I got the Waikiki bowl with a bit of rice added to it and it was decent but bite after bite I had a strange aftertaste that I kept trying to ignore, it was not pleasant. On a plus side, the rice was super good and was a great addition to wash away the weird taste. I really had high hopes for this place (solely based off Yelp reviews, of course) and wasn't completely sold on it. I may give them a second try since they were so friendly...but honestly, I went to A Bowl Poke Poke the other day and my go-to poké bowl spot was officially established. Place is killer and flavor wise it blows Hawaii Poke out of the water.

Finally had the opportunity to try the poké bowl at Hawaii after some weeks of waiting. The menu was straight forward with 5 pre-determined alternative and one were you could customize your bowl. The place is really small with just a few places to sit that might be worth mentioning. I had the Maui Classic with an extra avocado on top for 115 SEK. The food was delicious and lived up to my relatively high expectations! However, I missed the possibility to have my bowl based on tuna. Overall a very nice experience that I do recommend. The place is rather busy during lunch peak so try to come before 11.30 or after 12.45 if you do not like queuing :)

I tried the vegan bowl & it was really bland & tasteless. I don't know if it's a vegan thing or they just didn't succeed! I must say it felt healthy though. Staff are very nice & helpful & the service is fast.

Hula sunrise with a perfect 63-degree egg.

Fresh and delicious poké bowls (which is a sort of deconstructed sushi salad thing) served by great staff.

As a die hard Poke fan I had to try this small cute place in Södermalm in Stockholm. Located in a…read moregorgeous old part of Town on a set of stairs, a young and hip crowd sits on provided chairs or simply on the steps with cushions. Small daily selection of Bowls ( only in Swedish but the staff was happy to translate the words that wer not apparent) and great Italian lemonade selection. You wait outside while the bowl comes and it is a treat! I ordered with extra fish and it was abundant but not too expensive, even for Stockholm. I highly recommend this place if you are visiting!

I've tried the tuna and the salmon poké, both the larger size with white or black rice. I've only had it to go, cause the place is tiny. And now when summer is over you don't really wanna sit outside. During summer you can sit outside on either the stairs or their small outdoor seating. The poké is good and surprisingly filling. The bowl didn't look that big, and for someone who eats a lot I was worried it wouldn't be enough. But it was perfect! I've had better pokés in NY, but this is a very decent and fresh one, and I'm very happy this place is close to me! I paid 120 SEK for a large salmon poké. Worth every krona!

3-4/5 for food, but 5/5 for drinks and service!…read more We noticed this place always had a long line coming out the door, and finally getting the chance to go up the elevator to see the city from above, it's no wonder! Gorgeous views, energetic vibes, clean and modern interior. We went to the izakaya side to get a late night snack and drinks, and I am still dreaming about the drink that I got! It was that delicious. For drinks I got the melon & vodka (I asked the server which he recommended between that and the mango & amaretto and he instantly said the melon & vodka!) and it did not disappoint! So so good! I've been wanting to figure out how to make it at home. It was sweet, had a delicious honeydew flavor, and tasted nothing like alcohol -- just my type of drink. My bf got the passionfruit & bourbon and thought it was yummy, had great balance, and the spice was a nice touch. While our drinks were 10/10, our food was just okay. We got the Wagyu nigiri (good meat but not necessarily anything to write home about), agedashi aubergine (pass, tasted weirdly like whiskey), tuna sashimi (my favorite of the four; I enjoyed the added crisp from the topping), and miso chicken thigh (not bad but pretty salty). Great vibes, fun location, fantastic attentive service, top notch drinks, but passable food. I kept wanting to go back just to get that melon & vodka!
