We had an incredible day going on this tour. There were so many amazing views and sights to take in. Nevin, our guide, was personable, funny, informative, and super chill calling us back with a conch shell and playing his ukulele at some of the stops which really created a nice vibe. Raul the driver was also great! We even made an unexpected stop to see a rare monk seal that was chilling on the beach!! We would highly recommend booking this experience.

So happy my gf and I signed up for this amazing tour! We got picked up early in the morning around 7:50 and returned back to our place around 4pm. We got to see many beautiful places in the big island including sea turtles and final destination was the dole plantation. Also got to try different kinds of macadamia nuts in between tours and ended up buying 6 bags with different flavors to take back home. Nevin has a great personality and very knowledgeable about the island. I learned from him a lot about the island. MarMarvie's driving skills is really good! He is very friendly too. Thank you so much guys for making this an unforgettable experience!!!

It's a must to stop here ! Delicious

We just came back from a fantastic North Shore Circle Island Tour with Hawaii Turtle Tours led by Kurt and Harry. While we have been on many tours, Kurt was so fun (and funny!), informative, kept us all punctual and really taught us a lot about Oahu, which is saying a lot as we've been to the island before, have been on many tours and already knew a LOT! However, this was the first time we've been on the island with our children (ages 24 and 17), and they confirmed they also had an awesome time experiencing all of their Oahu "firsts." I highly recommend the North Shore Circle Island Tour with Kurt and Harry. Trust me, you will NOT be disappointed!

Our tour was great! Nevin was an awesome guide he gave us history, legends, and myths, and even played his ukilali. We swam with turtles, and some did the snorkeling. We ended at Dole plantation and the dole whip was delicious

On our way home we listened to Nevin playing the Ukelele and we kicked back and relaxed after a very entertaining day.

Nevin was the best tour guide. If you want to learn about Hawaii, past, present, mythology, and the language he knows everything and answered our question's eloquently and with a wonderful sense of humor. Our driver John was great too. The tour was the best and we enjoyed every minute of it. The shrimp for lunch was excellent and very moreish I strongly support this tour company.

North Shore Circle Island Adventure Tour, Honolulu - highlights: Halona Blowhole lookout, Kuala Point, Dole plantation, Diamondhead, snorkeling on North Shore Good tour to some of Honolulu's main sightseeing spots & beach time for snorkeling. Booked thru Viator - Convenient pick-up spots in downtown Waikiki. Devin, the tour guide, was knowledgeable & friendly, a native of Honolulu, he added some local flavor about various spots & recent history/politics. This could be dubbed the "eat snacks around Honolulu" tour - along the route, we stopped for macadamia nuts, fresh fruit, rice & shrimp (lunch), shaved ice & Dole whip (ice cream). Bring cash for lunch & other stops where you might want to pick something up. It was about 7 hours, hitting some of the natural "must-see" sightseeing spots on the island. As several really are just stop-and-see type spots, the tour was a good way to catch them all in 1 day. But note on Diamondhead - this stop is on the outside of the mountain/crater, if you want to get to the top, make time to come back later for a hike; tourists have to make reservations in advance. The highlight was the swim/snorkel with the sea turtles stop. I imagined more of a swim among a school of turtles (its probably not called a "school") kind of thing, although maybe that would've been a little scary,  as they are kinda big. (Note - the sea turtles are protected by federal law so if you see them, leave them alone.) We did see turtles, very close - but they were actually easier to spot when we were out of the water than while swimming. The little bay area is a nice, cool sheltered area to swim & snorkel and was a fun swim break in the middle of the tour. Small bus, about 18 people on the tour, mostly family groups. I went solo on this tour and it was fun - so if you aren't sure about going alone - go for it!

9/23/24 - What's not like about turtles/snorkling, good food, and an awesome guide. Fun and informative commentary. Great day to spend a day. Thanks Justin!

I've been on a lot of different tours and excursions in Oahu and Maui. This is by far the best and my favorite tour. Kurt and Victor made the entire experience. Each stop and location were perfect in terms of timing and photo opportunities. The history behind the tours were so very much appreciated especially when Kurt has you laughing till your stomach hurts. You learn some fascinating legends, trivia and background, such as the battle of the flying fish. The stop at the fruit stand was fun and the Shrimp plate was the best I've had on the island. I would recommend booking this tour at least the first or second day of your trip to get a sense of the true beauty of Oahu. Snorkeling was short, but I had no problem with that.

It was a pleasure to have Justin as our tour guide. We thoroughly enjoyed all the stops and were delighted by the unexpected whale sightings. I highly recommend this island tour for couples or families.

Kurt and Harry ROCK! I've been on a lot of excursions and this was special. They truly care about everyone on the tour and makes you feel good to be apart of the family for the day. We had a blast! We had a special treat on our tour. There was a Make A Wish family on our tour, made my trip extra sweet. Great weather and well lead. Thank you!

Mike our tour guide was part of the reason we had such a fantastic tour! He was funny, knowledgeable and a real person! The tour was timely, organized and well maintained. I especially appreciate him being so respectful about the turtles and the history of the culture, reminding us to respect these keep our distance from the turtles who are on the endangered species list. Definitely recommend them and if you can get Mike, even better!

Found this tour sort of last minute but so glad we did! Great price offer and great experience. It was my first time in Hawaii so this tour really showed me what the island offers other than just the Waikiki strip. Both Domian and Justin were great guides! Love how we got to stop by the Dole Plantation. Seeing the turtles was such a fun experience and being able to snorkel. I would definitely recommend this tour!

Highly recommend visiting Kualoa Ranch and doing this popular tour! The land is ginormous and offer sooo many different tours. I'll def come back and book one of the tour activities for horseback riding and zip-lining. The UTV tour is two hours long and you can either self-drive the UTV or book one with the tour guide. Each UTV has enough room for up to 6 people I believe. We paid $162.79 per person. They make you arrive 45 min beforehand but we showed up 25 mins beforehand and it was fine. You check in with the folks behind the counter and then they'll lead you to the area with the numbered table benches. They still made us wait for the group before us to leave before we even could line up by those tables. Once you check in, they give you a neck scarf (which you can keep) and try on helmets and goggles. You can bring your own goggles or wear sunglasses too. They make you sign waivers and also check your IDs if you're driving. Each time slot has up to 10 groups and you drive in a line, stopping at about 3-4 stops. Our tour guides were awesome and very knowledgeable in telling us facts about the different film stops. I'm a big movie/ TV show fan so it was really cool seeing some of these places in person! They had infamous sets from Jurassic World, Jumanji, King Kong, etc. They gave us plenty of time to check out some of the stops and take pictures. They're also really nice and offered to take multiple pics for us, including one with a big dinosaur in the background (they carry a dinosaur toy for these pics lol). Make sure you book in advance because they fill up the time slots quick! You will get dirty from the UTV drive so I recommend wearing something that you don't mind getting messy. Also bring a mask or wear their neck scarf so you don't breathe in the dust. At the beginning of the tour, they take your picture and then sell printed copy as a souvenir at the end for $20. They have a food court, gift shop, and bathrooms inside. There's also plenty of parking which is a plus!

While 'Im not much of a tour bus enthusiast, to ensure that my clients end up with a good one-- I decided to try Nui Tours. Unfulfilled promises by Jack (the owner): small group, Mercedes Van, all of the stops, snorkeling at a specific beach, we did not want to stop at certain places and were told we could customize, souvenir hats, 2 bottles of champagne, unlimited juices/snacks/drinks, and the discounted price per person. What we got: the bus was 30 minutes late, no one answers the phone number, HUGE OLD TOUR BUS (58 people), we did not get to choose our stops or how long we stopped somewhere, they had water bottles and Pringles (no juice/no champagne/no other snacks that were promised), and on top of several other things-- they charged us full price. WE ARE STILL AWAITING A REFUND of the amount that was overcharged. Jack has lied to us, taken zero accountability, and still refuses to answer the phone. I can't help to think that half of his warrants are for fraud at this point. There is no clear communication and several tour companies show up at the same location, so if you got suckered into these tours-- please verify with each driver to see if your name is on their list. But despite being called a "Dolphin and You" tour, there is only dolphin WATCHING from the boat -- no swimming with dolphins. They also only stop at one snorkel spot in shallow waters.m whereas most companies have you snorkel at 2. Maybe if I had never been on another tour, I would have thought this was good, but I'd only recommend this for people who want to mainly watch things from the boat and not snorkel. I honestly saw more marine life where I live in OC. On a previous tour with a different company, I swam in waters where dolphins were swimming all around and underneath me -- it was a core memory, and I was hoping to recreate that experience. They also don't let you swim very far from the boat, which made the experience feel overly restrictive. Because the website is not clear I will lay down the iternary: 6:00am pick-up from hotel (about 1.5 hrs to get there) Restroom stop at Fareharbor 1 hr dolphin watching--basically your just on a boat 1 hr snorkel--will see sparse fish 1 hr return--will give you sandwich and water cups no water bottles, temporary tattoo offered Return to hotel: another 1.5 hrs to drop everyone off etc Kind of waste of money $180+ and my precious vacation time. Also, be wary of the reviews. They offer incentives for leaving one. Sorry, but as a Yelp Elite, my honest opinion can't be bought.

We did the turtle tour on 5/13 at 8:30 in the morning. They teach everyone how to use the given gear, they antifog the goggles beforehand and sanitize all the gear well afterwards. They have snacks, water, and ginger ale. We saw two turtles within a couple arms lengths at the surface (you can't touch them but gosh they were so close!). We also saw about seven turtles chilling on the bottom. Tons of reef fish swimming so close to us too. The crew makes sure to point out turtles so you don't miss them. It was my first time in open water and the crew was welcoming from the start. They separate the groups so if you can't swim or are not great at swimming, you can stay back and hold onto a blue mat in the water where they teach you and help you feel comfortable in open water first. Even though I vomited afterwards (yes I took plenty of motion sickness medication ahead of time!), I highly recommend the experience. It's unlike anything else. The crew is so funny, they normalized not being able to swim well or motion sickness so you don't feel embarrassed. They get in the water with you (not all crews do!) and were super attentive, and encouraging. I felt safe enough that I was able to learn, get confident in the water and join the others and I still felt like I had plenty of great snorkeling time. Overall, GREAT company for actually seeing turtles! GREAT for inexperienced swimmers and people who get motion/sea sickness! If you're determined, you can still do it. So this entire experience is just 5/5 We booked through TripAdvisor. This is 100% recommend, since this is also at open ocean, it's easier if you can swim and not afraid of the waters. They do offer life jackets and self blown floatation vests, your choice. Must do!!!!! See you next time!

Living Ocean Tours - My son made a new friend and he loved his secure life jacket even though he is an excellent swimmer.
