My husband and I have been to different Hawaiian Bros locations in DFW, and Chicago. This location has the BEST customer service. There is one register open that is manned by an associate, but multiple tablets available for self service. Despite the self service, the managers and staff at this location have stopped by to check in on us, answer questions, get us a cup for water, etc. It was such a nice touch! The food came out pretty quickly since it was not busy around 7 PM on a Saturday. The food was tasty! I loved the Molokai chicken! It has a little spice to it and very good flavor! So. I ordered Hawaiian Bris tonight thru Uber Eats. It didn't take long at all to get here but it wasn't even lukewarm warm. I'm glad I ordered extra rice to add to the Malakai chicken. The chicken is described as sweet and a little spicy. Not spicy at all. I don't know what I was expecting but this wasn't it. The chicken I would say is comparable to BBQ burnt ends, which I don't like at all. I'm also glad it came with the little teriyaki sauce. The rice was sticky rice... but more gummy with no flavor. Ordered on UberEats, so I can only speak to the food. I tried 4 different chicken options Hawaiian Bros offers. I don't remember which one was which, but they were all pretty good. The chicken meat was tender and the sauces were flavorful. Rice was cooked fine and the Macaroni salad was solid. I tried it today and what the heck!!! The portion sizes have dropped drastically, the quality is NOT the same and my order was completely wrong!? I do not like paying for food, then get home and it's something completely different from what I ordered. I ordered No Mac (because I am allergic to wheat I can not eat the noodles) BOTH orders came with Mac. Hahah I ordered veggies INSTEAD OF MAC, and two meats on each plate. I did not get anything I ordered. I will not be back. Everything on the menu literally tastes one ingredient off from the next order and not only that, the Mac salad tastes like you're eating macaroni with mayonnaise and pepper. First time at this restaurant. It was a Friday night. I was a little confused coming in and seeing the kiosks. A young lady came over and helped us. She explained the menu, the sides, sizes, etc. She was very patient, answering all my questions. She took our order from the kiosk and even showed us a cheaper way to get what we wanted. The hubs and I split a larger size meal. Staff was quick to bring us extra plates and utensils as well as sauces. The drink machine ran out of my drink and they filled it from the back. Food was excellent. The chicken was soooo tender and had mild heat. I ordered the mixed vegetables as a side. They were very tasty but only stayed warm for a few minutes. Good experience.
