She handled both events professionally and with a great eye for framing, lighting and spontaneity. Richel Lavette is the consummate professional photographer. Her skill set includes image set up, proper lighting, images that tell a story, taking charge of large group photos with incredible tact, and looking for the small details that make a good image even better. Ms. Lavette can see what others do not. Her experience, and speed in finding the right images tell an unparalleled story. She requires initial input from the client, and once she understands the priorities, Richel can work independently with little to no supervision. I am from out of state and vacation in Sarasota every year with my family, I…read morewas planning on an engagement and really didn't know where to start except that I wanted a sunset photo shoot when I asked. Nina helped me tremendously in the planning, gave me a rain date incase out date didn't work out with weather, showed me a similar shoot she had just done which was an engagement on the beach so I got an idea what I was going to be getting, and she was super personable and friendly which made it so easy. Now for the day of, she did such an amazing job keeping in touch with me and with being early and set up on the beach. I brought my fiancé out and she had no idea Nina was shooting us from beginning to end. It was awesome! She captured every moment and once we got that out of the way Nina came up and introduced herself and had us do some poses that came out incredible in the photos! She was so friendly, outgoing and so easy to work with.
