Fast, friendly, helpful service. Each booth has a theme, which is cute. We ate in Lil Italy, all decorated with grape vines and wine artwork. Was so excited to eat here after not coming here for many years. I ordered the eggs Benedict and ordered hash brown not crispy and they came out black and burnt. Tried to send them back and she offered to charge me more for French toast. I insisted on the hash browns being taken back and she refused Telling me they would be raw. We came to Hazels around 11:00 am on a Friday. The parking lot was full and so was Hazels. We were seated immediately and brought coffee and water right away. I love watching the waitresses here. This is a fairly standard breakfast/lunch spot. I did the two eggs, bacon and GF pancakes. On the whole, it was just okay. The interior is cute in that each booth is it's own little theme and our server was very friendly and efficient. The locals clearly live it. We had just finished some shopping errands near by (you know who we mean) and saw Hazel's which reminded us it was time to eat. They close at 2:00 and it was just about 15 minutes 'till but they said sure come on in. We ordered a Club Sandwich, to split, as there were dinner plans for later. The sandwich was terrific. Fresh and lightly toasted bread, turkey that didn't come thinly sliced in a package but obviously roasted and chopped there, and perfectly done Shoestring French Fries (my favorite style). Plus, they split the sandwich and fries onto two plates for us without us even asking. The service was attentive but not overbearling from all of the pleasant staff who were also doing their end of shift preparation for the next morning. One Yelper wrote Lunch was good, but breakfast was better. If so, then we really need to come back for breakfast! read more

The food was cold when it arrived at the table. It could have been good, if it wasn't so cold. I ordered eggs Benedict subbed out the ham for avocado- they made the substitution with no problem. Yum yum Great place! Looks like a worn house on the outside but after going inside it greatly exceeded my expectations, with colorful, quirky, and unique decor. The servers are extremely friendly and attentive and frequently came to our table for refills on our coffee. I got the mushroom and onion deluxe burger. This has to be the best place ever. You feel so welcomed and relaxed. The staff is so so outstanding in their abilities to work with each other. I really love just to come and sit in there theme booths. It's like" what booth do I fit today". And they are usually right in where they sit us. There manager has to be the best I've ever encountered in this business. I thought she was the owner but she only manages it. She has so much heart that she makes you think she is the owner. Great employee. But all the rest are so like her in her customer service. Great leader. Owner this is to you, you are so lucky to have a great leader running your business. If there was the ability to give more that five stars them I give 10+ Thank you employees and management for your best ever service. And the food is awesome too. Now serve dinner. lol read more

Stopped by at around 6:30 for breakfast and ordered off several different sections of the menu. Everything was great -- exactly what you'd hope for in a solid diner breakfast. What really made our visit was the service. Our waitress was the sweetest and incredibly attentive, just a ray of sunshine. Highly recommend! read more

1st time.. Nothing to look at from outside, but so fun inside! Service was fantastic, you could tell the young ladies working enjoyed their job. Food. Steak & eggs... awesome crispy red potatoes, steak was a tad chewy, but portions & the service knocked it out of the park. This is sooo your hole in the wall diner. It doesn't look like much from the outside but as soon as you get out of your car, the food smell hits you and you know it's gonna be good! Classic American dishes. Fast service. Cheesy decor. This place has it all! Servers were attentive and POS system allows you to scan receipt and pay by phone. We will for sure be back! read more
