Only time I have a problem is when they hire a new nurse who thinks they can talk to us any way they want just because we're addicts. First they forgot about me after I checked in and was there for 2 hours. Had to remind everyone that I'm there and need to dose. I go to dose and the new nurse is giving me attitude about my hat. The world won't end if I'm wearing a hat. A hat has no legal or physical ability to make me ineligible for taking methadone. She said she wouldn't do anything or "risk her license over a hat" well it sounds like your DA needs to resign if me wearing a hat twists the DA's panties in a knot. Me wearing a hat literally has no effect on whether I should be able to dose or not. I WILL litigate this if they want to make a deal out of it.

I have seen this doctor since 2022 and was fine then in January he stopped taking insurance and just collect 60 dollars a pop. He is on probation for running an unprofessional business, fraud and other issues.

That's already a problem--people have busy lives and make time for these appointments. After finally being called up, I was told they didn't accept my insurance. This was confusing because: * They did accept my insurance at my previous appointment with a massage therapist at this facility. * My insurance shows they are contracted with this provider. * I had an authorization with their office name on it, which insurance companies do not issue unless the provider is in-network. If my insurance "wasn't accepted," that should have been flagged at the time of booking, or at the very least, someone should have followed up with me before the appointment, not after I had driven over 45 minutes and waited to be seen. When I asked the front desk why I wasn't notified, they just said "I don't know," and walked away. That kind of dismissive attitude is completely unprofessional. Patients reschedule things, take time off work, spend gas money--this is not something you casually brush off. The owner later claimed it was an issue "between me and my insurance," but that's not accurate. My insurance does cover services at this facility. The issue is that the office failed to inform me that, for whatever reason, they decided they wouldn't honor that. That miscommunication is on them, not my insurance. The owner also suggested I "pay out of pocket next time to avoid these nightmares." Not only is that tone incredibly insensitive, it completely misses the point. Many patients can't afford to pay out of pocket--that's why they have insurance. And this situation wasn't a financial misunderstanding--it was about transparency and respect. Lastly, when I brought up the 30-minute delay, they said it was because they were "fighting with my insurance to cover the visit." But again, that's something your office should do before the patient arrives, not during their appointment time. And frankly, that's part of the administrative process that every medical office handles--this isn't the first time I've been to a provider, and no one has ever treated it this way. Another thing, the whole time I was waiting, I could hear the staff and no one was on the phone with insurance.... All in all, I left without getting the care I needed, wasted time, money, and energy, and felt incredibly disrespected as a patient. I don't recommend this office.

I wouldn't recommend this facility for a patient that requires significant help or has mild cognitive impairment. Post stroke she was wheel chair bound and required assistance for everything. In summary: Dr. B was excellent. Thoughtful, problem solving mindset and treated patient and family with respect, and some humor when appropriate. Rehab Team: Competent and caring. Speech. OT AND PT good therapists. Management: Poor. All patients receive 2 consecutive days with no therapy. That is 2 days isolated in your hospital room with no activities. This is truly detrimental to the healing process. In my experience this exasperated anxiety and feelings of isolation, reversing progress made during the week, disturbing sleep cycles and recovery. It's very important if you are considering this location for a loved one that you reflect on this. Your loved one will be sitting in a hospital bed for two consecutive days with no interaction except a nurse popping in to check on them briefly. Of course family can visit and we did, however it is not a substitute for professional engagement. This workaround that administrators have finagled to ensure patients hit the certain hours required while limiting weekend staffing is absolutely horrible and very transparent in their motives. Nursing Staff: Very inconsistent and overall not good. Didn't appear in alignment with goals of therapy. I didn't feel safe most of the time with the quality of care my mom was receiving. Not all the time, there were a few standouts that were excellent, but overall very lacking. I share this info. so if you're considering this facility you know what to expect. And with hopes that administrators will make changes for future patients. When searching for a rehab facility I admit I was influenced by the the gold star ratings from outside organizations, but after my loved one's experience, I realize this is more a reflection of savvy administrators working to get accolades from governing bodies vs. true gold star care.

During that time, our family has experienced our share of hospitals and rehabilitation facilities. In our experience, Ocean View Post Acute stands apart. Never before have we seen such a strong partnership between Physical Therapy and Nursing. They make something incredibly difficult look easy. And we know firsthand that it is anything but. Our mom is a vulnerable 88-year-old navigating a difficult journey. The staff are responsive, attentive, and compassionate. They visibly slow down for her when she needs it, speak to her with dignity and respect, and encourage her while continuing to push her toward her goals. They do this even on the busiest days, when it is clear they are working hard to meet the needs of everyone in their care. No group of people is perfect, and neither is Ocean View. But what we see every day is the striving. The teamwork. The professionalism. The humanity. We don't know whether Mom will ultimately recover from her trauma. But what we do know is that Ocean View is giving her the best opportunity to do so. And in the end, that's all any family can ask of the people entrusted with the care of someone they love.

Mind you, it was 8 weeks before I could get in to see him. At most I would spend 10 to 15 minutes in his office going over what ailed me and he would write a prescription. This was the norm for the 4 times I ended up seeing him. He would ask to see me monthly and due to his schedule being overly booked, I would be lucky to see him every 8-10 weeks. Again, 10 - 15 minutes and more and more prescriptions for more medication. There was one upcoming appointment that I received a phone call the morning of letting me know he was sick and wouldn't be attending. How convenient, he openly charges $60 for no shows to patients, but can call in sick and I'm stuck not seeing him until the next opening (again, 4+ weeks later). When I brought this up the following visit (when I could finally get in again) he openly denied being sick to my face and claimed we didn't have an appointment scheduled. To top this review off, I gave up on him. He doesn't care about me and honestly I could care less about him or PCSD at this point. I cancelled my last appointment 3 weeks ahead of time (again, cause I couldn't see him monthly). I got a phone call on 27 December stating that I missed said cancelled appointment. I was out of town and called them back stating that I wanted nothing to do with them and the lovely air-head blonde receptionist "cancelled" my last appointment. After some hold music, they came back on the line and did see a note (not a cancellation) on my account and apologized. I also received a call on 28 December stating that I would be receiving a bill in the mail and to ignore it as it was taken care of (never did see that bill). Fast forward two months and I received a $60 bill in the mail today for a "no-show" appointment. Before I knew it I was on the phone with Beckie from their billing department. She also stated that she saw the "note" on my account, but not a proper cancelation. She will also be sending me a $0.00 balance invoice to verify that I indeed do not owe PCSD any money. I have moved on to a new Psychiatrist that started off by giving me the option to take a genomide assay (cheek swab and lab results to reveal if I am even able to properly benefit from the medication he was stacking on me). Guess what, I am not a good candidate for ANY of the medication I had been on for the previous 3.5 years other than the side effects they were producing. The results of this assay also revealed information on a vitamin deficiency and how to combat all of this. Amazing that a q-tip did more in one week than 3.5 years of putting up with a caring primary care physician that couldn't figure out how to help so she referred me to a "professional" that spent 10 minute sessions and did not give a shit. I am in a much better place than I was prior to meeting Dr. Drimmer, but am utterly disgusted that someone in his profession as well as being a reference from primary care physicians doesn't take the time to actually figure out what is wrong with his patients. For your own health, stay away from PCSD and Dr. Eric Drimmer.
