I had another appointment at 1pm, and my pedicure had been scheduled for 11am. The man who was providing my service never said hello, and wasn't friendly, which is fine, but my "Codi" pedicure did not include several things I expected. I never received any type of callous removal, or dry skin exfoliation. I left with my feet feeling the way when I walked in. He did provide cuticle trimming and removed my gel nicely. The massage was abysmal - with a too nonchalant pressure and technique. Had I not been in a time crunch, I would've requested a new tech. I asked for a simple flower to be painted in orange on my big toes, with a blue base. My tech went and recruited a gal to come and do the design. I am shocked with what I left with, as it is not what I asked for, and a bit disappointing. Once again I was in a time crunch, and I had already asked her to make it bigger once. Please look at the image I was given. In addition to the basic design not being what I wanted (just tell me no next time if it can't be done) my gel is flooded to the cuticle on both big toes and will likely lift well before the 2 week mark. I would not expect this type of pedicure for $74. I left paying $90 for a pretty bad pedicure and meh design. Had I known the quality of work here, I would've done the cheapest pedicure and no design.

I thought about going back to have things fixed but why would I when it'd be the same result . After being urged by several friends I reached out to them and they offered to re do my nails at no charge. I tipped after having my nails re done, again they looked very nice. They lasted a whole 8 DAYS this time wearing and peeling was evident before the 8 day mark. Upon looking at other reviews I'm NOT the only one that has has this issue. I was just going to go to a different salon and not complain but they reached out to me. After telling them the issues I had once again they basically pointed the finger at me saying my nail bed must not be good, etc. When my sister in law (a nail tech in Indiana) was home for Easter she also agreed my nails werr super thin and wouldnt last. The gel they put on my nails were super thin and my nails WERE NEVER PREPPED. This is not the first time I've had gels so I was confused after leaving both times. I told them in my second contact that my nails only lasted 5 DAYS the first time and 8 DAYS the second time. When i went to have my nails redone i was told by the OWNER they should last at least 2 weeks without issues. I was also told this via Facebook message by his wife (according to him). When i pointed out theyve only lastes a week tops i was told i was just looking for free services and their gels usually last for 7 weeks. They were professional until i tild them the sam problems i was having the second time. I didnt ask to have my nails re done either time. If you need something short term this is your salon, they are professional until you point out their short cuts and what they did wrong. THEY ALSO BLOCKED ME AFTER POINTING OUT THESE POINTS SO BUYER BEWARE

A sweet, quaint salon located just outside the center of town in Kenton. The perfect little country…read moresalon. If you're leaving town, drive slowly or else you'll miss the salon on the left! It is easy to pass since it's just a perfect bite size building. We were in town for a bridal party hair/make up session. A couple of us got there early to set up and they gladly accommodated a table for us to use for champagne and snacks. They were very kind and sweet! I can't say enough about each stylist. Especially, Kiera (sp?). She has been doing hair for several years, her updos were fantastic! What make her even better is her personality. She's the quintessential country stylist, so sweet and genuinely interested in your life. The salon itself has 4 hair booths, 1 makeup/hair booth and two wash booths. They do have a small shelf of product that you can purchase as well. The thing that was the icing on the cake for me was the large scripture in the bathroom. I love when little places boast the Bible in a classy way! This salon is very clean and very professional! Would recommend to locals and bridal parties!
