I had a "rapid-induction" session with Ms. Mrotek that left me feeling incredibly relaxed. In the past couple of weeks since my session, I've noticed a huge reduction in sleep disturbances. I've been a long time sufferer of restless leg syndrome, which has significantly decreased since hypnosis. I came into the session hoping to work on a specific area, which is confidence during singing performance. Just a few minutes ago, I left a successful recording session-- but it didn't start out that way! I was developing an increasingly painful and distracting headache, something that often comes up when the pressure is on and I'm recording in an unfamiliar environment. About an hour in, I decided to start " tapping"-using the EFT (emotional freedom technique) Helen Kathryn Mrotek introduced to our session. And something amazing happened! They discussed numerology, astrology, reiki, hypnotherapy, meditation, "talking" to spirits, tarot, etc. I would consider myself to be more of a believer than not, but I do have my limits. While I found the topics discussed to be interesting and sometimes enlightening, I was a little put off by some of the topics. I DO believe that spirituality can help heal physically and mentally...to a degree. To say it has completely cured cancer with no other treatment I think is a dangerous thing to tell people and extremely unlikely. Also, as a supplement, or in place of psycho-therapy, absolutely. But to insist that no one needs medication for a mental disorder can be damaging and reverses the progress we've made in the mental health community. It IS OK to take medication if you need to. There is enough shame surrounding the stigma of mental health as it is. No one should be embarrassed for taking medication. However, those are a matter of opinion, and would not discourage me from returning for a reading of any kind. The women were knowledgeable, kind, and easy to talk to.

Everything she said during our medium reading was generic and something she could have inferred by something else that we said or agreed to. Nothing special was said that really truly made me believe my loved ones were there with me. I felt she could have said the same exact things to someone else and they could have also applied. She chooses "safe" options to say if you don't give her a lot of info to feed off. Truly heartbreaking to experience. I just hope Catherine finds it in her heart to no longer prey upon the vulnerable by faking and taking their money during their difficult times. Please look into another place to go to!
