After a bad experience at Charlotte ENT. I decided to seek a small, local practice.. I figure the service to be more personal and the help on getting the right hearing aids at a cheaper right might work. I really feel exactly that. Dr. Steven Cuddy was that. A one man show. Very personable and he's accommodating to my situation. He explained that even though my insurance is out of network, he would provide whatever I needed to provide the paperwork to file with my insurance. And today I'm going in for fitting and wear it for a day or 2 to see if it works for me before I spend $3000+. That I appreciate because this being a first time. I don't know what to expect. I have had a moderate hearing loss that had been bothering me more lately, and decided to find a local audiologist. I am so glad I found Dr. Steven Cuddy. From the moment I entered his office, he put me at ease. He clearly explained to me the types of aids available and which would be most appropriate for my situation. He also told me what to expect as I am getting used to them. He offers excellent ongoing supportive care for me and for my aids. I am adjusting to well and learning how to use the various functions and adjustments on the remote appropriately, and have found that the aids are already making a huge improvement in my daily life. Steven Cuddy has provided patience and support during my transition to the use of a hearing aid. I've come to enjoy and appreciate the benefits of its use. I can hear my cell phone ring directly into my ear even when it's in my purse in another room. Also, it acts as a Bluetooth to listen to music on my cellphone while walking. After working for several years in an Ear Nose and Throat Clinic, he established Healthy Hearing for Life. The clinic focuses on high level patient care and reasonable rates for services provided. We offer personal, old-fashioned customer service and the most modern hearing aid technology.

Meet the Business Owner: Steven C.

Steve grew up in Rhode Island, just outside the capital city of Providence. From 2000-2006, he lived in South California. He attended California State University, Northridge, where he completed his Audiology education and training. He was granted a Master's degree with Distinction, in Audiology. After completing his internships, he relocated to the Carolinas, where he makes his home today.
