If this place was in the Northern Quarter it would be packed to the rafters all day long and even though Bromley Cross isn't the busiest of places during the week they seem to have decent footfall - I hope that continues. My girlfriend loves finding healthier food options and with Earthlings being a vegan cafe you have a nice selection of meals and snacks that won't hurt your wallet or waistline. She has in fact eaten here before and raves about the food so give that a try if you're stopping by! Coffee was great though and they do have the option of 'regular' diary milk to add to your coffee as appose to options that would fit the vegan tab - which is great if you don't want to change up the taste of your brew :) The cafe has lovely decor and friendly staff - really happy it's opened up so close to home!

I visited Earthlings on a Saturday for lunch and as soon as I walked in I was impressed. The staff were very welcoming and I found it to have a lovely interior with cute decor and many tables to choose from! The menu was great - it is all vegan so don't expect eggs or any form of meat although you can get hot drinks with dairy milk rather than dairy alternatives! It cost me and my dad £20 exactly for 2 lunches with a side and 2 coffees, which was very reasonable! All round great little spot, I hope it does well and will be visiting as often as possible!

Phoned them at least 30 times and they just took to phone of the hook so we had to eventually get a refund of just-eat when they saw how messed up this was. We left a review stating what had happened these guys had the absolute cheek to lie and say we never asked for no jalapeños and that we'd asked for no peppers Screenshot below of the order notes and they're reply, really wouldn't trust anyone who lies like this especially if it's involving your food. Don't risk it like we did because if they mess up they won't answer or sort it out for you and will just lie afterwards. Scumbags!

In one taco right on top of the cheese there was a black and grey thick hair which was disgusting to think that it went out without notice as it was right on top. The tacos were put in a box which was nice and neat but the meat was still very moist and made the taco soggy which gives it a horrible taste that no one wants. Also 3 tacos for £6.99 is a lot thats like £2.35 each and i damn well know that it does not cost that much to purchase all the ingredients for a single taco. Don't think ill be ordering from here again.

I got lost looking for the restaurant after my phone died but finally found my friend at the top of the steps leading down to Earth. Service is set up like a cafeteria, and for just £7 you can pick 4 items from the line (up to 2 "mains".) I think everything in the line and dessert counter is vegan - I was struggling to find dairy/egg items in the menu. I feel like it's more palatable for them to sell themselves as a vegetarian rather than vegan restaurant. I picked up a hearty bean chili atop quinoa, braised cabbage, and a beautiful mushroom pie, in addition to a lime/lemongrass bottled drink and coffee/walnut cake. Portion sizes were huge and you feel very healthy eating the food - the bean chili could have used more seasoning, but the savory mushroom pie was divine! Creamy, savory, and textural, I was surprised at how well they veganized this classic. The cabbage was like tame sauerkraut, which cut the richness of the pie well. The cake was mildly sweet but had a wonderful bitter aftertaste, the scent of ground coffee lingering in my palate long after I finished the last bite. I had a taste of my friend's raw blueberry cheesecake and we had quite a bit of fun trying to guess what they made it out of. It was alright - I would've wanted to try the raw tiramisu, if they had it.

Any time we have a team lunch out - it's always here and it's always great. Pizza is, obviously, always my first choice here. Their pizza bases are thin and crispy and they love to experiment with a huge choice of toppings too. The pizza pictured, was lovely! I have tried some pasta dishes here too - the mushroom tortellini being one of my favourites. If you ever find yourself in Middlebrook retail park and get hungry - I would recommend Ask.

The staff here did seem quite nice, and inside it was the quite a nice place as well with some italian decor going back to the roots of this restauraunt, this was nice. I ordered a Gluten Free Margharita Buffala pizza, which simply is a Margharia with Buffalo Mozzerella, it was quite nice, albeit there was probably too much buffalo mozzerella, and big lumps of it, the base was quite nice too but sadly it was a little soggy. I also ordered some potatoes to go with my meal, they were quite nice with the oil they put them in and a nice gluten free side, if you are a coeliac like myself. The service did seem quite quick, but I felt rushed as they come over when I hadn't decided what to order yet, and then came nowhere near me so I had to do a huge wave across the restauraunt, like a kid would do to say goodbye. The pricing seemed reasonable, especially with my Tastecard which gave me 2-4-1, albeit this was only one lot despite there being 4 diners overall, which was a shame. Overall, this is quite a nice place, but is sadly too much on the average side to warrant anything over 3 stars.

Their menu changes throughout the week, but everything is guaranteed vegetarian - a rarity in this age of burgers, hot dogs and fried chicken (don't get me wrong, these are some of my favourite items, but it's good to have a break!) They have juices, raw pad thai, vegan sushi, and a hot 'buddha bowl' option. On my visit, the hot option - perfect for the cold wet weather - was a mushroom strogonoff, served with wholegrain rice and steamed kale. I'm not usually a mushroom fan but felt like hey, sometimes you have to take a chance. At £5.50, it was a healthy lunch portion and kept me going through the afternoon. It was packed with mushrooms and plenty of sauce to soak into the rice, and you can also add some seeds if you'd like. I'll be back over the summer I'm sure. Service was really friendly and swift, and I can imagine that, once the sun finally does stick around for a while, the square will become a great place to spend some time.

The prices are all under £10 so very reasonable, and it's all mostly healthy food. They offer a takeaway option as well which is slightly cheaper in price. The downside is that it took ages to get our food; 40 mins wait for my falafel bowl and my mums falafel wrap, which seemed awfully long for a small cafe. Just to note they do not serve non vegan stuff, not even dairy milk is available but they have lots of alternatives like oat, almond, soya and coconut.
