My early years of listening to The Who, Beatles, Rolling Stones and Led Zeppelin...well my hearing is not quite was it once was. The Hearing Rehab Center, was one of the in-network Audiologist my insurance, United Health Care, showed on the list when I inquired about a month ago. My first contact was with their receptionist, Suzy, who was very friendly on the phone, and provided with info for my first visit and my hearing test. I then met Dr. Cory Tickle who I must confess I thought was an intern. But I would soon find later with my interactions and his diplomas on his office wall was a very educated professional-he just looked young (or maybe its because I am getting older and everyone is starting to look young to me). Dr. Tickle gave a very thorough explanation of my hearing test and then gave me some great options in devices to consider. For me, hearing when there is background ambient noise was a challenge, restaurants, stores, even in my kitchen when the faucet was running, all drowned the conversation I was trying to hear with my family and others. The hearing aids today are almost invisible. A good friend got them couple of years ago and unless he had told me I would not of know he was wearing them. Same holds true with mine, they "disappear" when wearing them and just as importantly they work with my Iphone, allowing me to have phone conversations and now be able to hear the discussion. Plus now, The Who, Beatles, Rolling Stones and Led Zeppelin are in my ears while I am working out without a need for headphones. A lifetime of loud rock n roll and a career in aviation maintenance have left my hearing compromised to say the least. My family were constantly having to repeat conversation with me. I was missing a lot of conversation with everyone. I think my hearing loss is harder on them than it is on me. They suggested I get my hearing checked. My doctor referred me to HRC. I made an appointment with Suzy the receptionist. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. Dr. Tickle gave me a thorough examination and determined the extent of my hearing loss. He recommended several different options and products to try. HRC gives me 75 days of product trial and adjustments to tailor the devices to improving my hearing. I believe the state law is only 30 days. HRC is doing everything possible to help me with my hearing loss. I would highly recommend HRC to address your hearing loss needs. read more

I have been meaning to write this review forever. I was overwhelmed by the kindness and generosity of your Arvada clinic. My mom was visiting from out of state and her hearing aid fell and broke out of its casing. I called the Hearing Rehab center in Arvada to see if they could help me. Even though they do not carry the same type of hearing aids, they said to bring them down and they would see what they could do. When I got there, everyone was so welcoming and kind. They took a look at my mom's broken hearing aid without hesitation and fixed it free of charge! It has been over a year and my mom's hearing aid has been fine ever since. Had to stop in today to pick up my Birthday batteries. Was so delighted to see Susie sitting at her desk. Of course the hello Becky, how are you and then from there a 15 minute pleasant time. Asked her to listen and see if she heard scratchy, rustling noise or maybe it was my ear. Told her I was struggling with the new receiver, but it was probably just me. She listened and walked around the building and heard the "noise" I was hearing. So after talking to the Dr. I went back for an adjustment on the frequency and wahla, like brand new! While en route from our home in Florida, one of my Oticon hearing aids quit working. I thought it was a wax filter, but the one I had didn't solve the issue. I called the office in Arvada, right near where I was staying. I was told to come right in. I stopped in and Susie took my aid in to check it out. She found that it was my receiver. Since it was still under warranty, she tried to get it approved but was on hold for "too long". She replaced the filter, brought it out to my car, and didn't charge me a cent. Dr. Corey, Susie and Kate all offer outstanding customer service! My mom was here from Wyoming and needed someone to troubleshoot problems she was having with her hearing aid. Hearing Rehab came to the rescue and had so much patience in trying to assist. She had two separate appointments and each time they went out of the way to be helpful. I took my grandmother in because she was having issues with one of her hearing aids. Susie went above and beyond to get my grandmother's hearing aid fixed. Susie was very professional and polite while explaining every step to my grandmother so she will be able to fix her hearing aids in the future without having to go in for this simple fix. I cannot say enough great things about Dr. Cory Tickle and the staff at HRC. We brought my mother in for a much needed hearing test. Not only did Dr. Tickle diagnose a moderate hearing loss, but he was very happy to reprogram the hearing aids my father had when he was alive. Cory took all the time mom needed to learn how to use the hearing aids. Kudos to Dr. Cory Trickle and the rest of the HRC staff. It was panic time, after my hearing aids started having problems. Then I was able to reach Dr. Cory Tickle. I explained what was going on and that I had meetings and customers to talk with and listen to all day. He got me in within 10 minutes of my phone call. Problem solved and then off to work thanks to Dr. Tickle. It is always nice to see and talk with Susie who truly is the best. Dr. Cory Tickle has been very helpful and proficient in helping me select the right hearing aids and has adjusted them for maximum benefit. I went to the Arvada office on Friday, August 12th and the staff was very helpful. I had been experiencing ear loss in my right ear and the doctor was so helpful she went over and above to clean out not only by right ear, but my left ear as well. She understands the conditions ears can get into, the types of hearing loss that can be involved, the hearing aid solutions that can be applied, the physiology of treatment, and the psychology of dealing with it all.
