Dr. Vellanki took care of the blood clot and I stopped seeing my previous cardiologist. She has had me do a heart catheterization that resulted in a double heart bypass being done. I'm so glad that she is taking care of my heart! Dr. Vellanki and the other doctors that I've seen at Georgia Heart Institute are really good and their location is close to the Forsyth Northside Hospital. Would definitely recommend Dr. Vellanki to anyone who may have a heart problem. Their office, waiting area, visiting rooms, and ultrasound room are really nice. I like that they have buttons to open the entry doors! Their receptionists are really nice. I enjoy going there for appointments!

I realized something was up so I went up to the front and I asked, and they said that their computer was down in the back or something wasn't working in the back and they rescheduled me. I come back and I get my stress test done and I'm told there's a possibility that I have a blockage in my heart So they said let's schedule you for the CT scan tomorrow They give me medication to take at night. I take the medication and everything and then I get a call in the morning saying that they gotta reschedule it again But the next appointment is a month out. Like Hey thank you for telling me I might have a blockage in my heart And then blowing me off for a month that's really nice of you guys! I made it very clear that I move within 20 days to Texas. Unbelievable patient care. Shows how much respect and care you guys have for your patients.
