Heartbeat City Camaro went above and beyond helping me with several problems I had with my 68. I ordered the correct parts on my first order. The company I had put the console in told me it was the wrong part. I called to ask about the console. Jimmy O gave me a perfect explanation of what needed to be adjusted to complete the install. I explained to the company installing my console what needed to be adjusted for install. The company told me it won't fit. So I ordered another console and Jimmy O reached out to ask me about re-ordering. I should have listened from the start and if it wasn't for the Team at Heartbeat City Camaro. I would have been stuck with too many consoles. I was able to get the correct glass plate and return the extra console. All with the most professional and courteous service I've ever experienced. I have been building cars over the last 40 years and my experience with most companies are good, But I came across this Company and I have found them to be very helpful and knowledgeable about not only the parts they sell but the information and photographs on their page. I couldn't locate certain parts and after calling them over the phone and describing what I was looking for they were very helpful and for the most part had it unless it was out of stock. I was surprised by all the negative reviews when I went to post my experience, I certainly did not have the feeling that some have described in fact it was just the opposite! I have been buying parts from HBC for years. I have always received high quality parts, but I am an educated consumer and usually know what I am buying prior to purchase. Their website is by far the best out there. Their inventory is second to none. They ship very quickly, and my orders have always been 100% accurate. They are the best Camaro specific vendor, hands down. As a preface: I am giving my opinion here based on my experience only and as with all Yelp reviews, opinions of others do not influence my own. That being said, I have not had the disturbing experiences noted in these other reviews. If that were the case for my own experience , and had similar discussions or communications as related here, I would cease all patronage of this company. If true, this would be unacceptable for me. Based on my own experience, this person has been cordial and has not offered the alleged opinions noted in other reviews. As a time frame, I have used Heartbeat City several times in the past 10 years before reading the other reviews here on Yelp today. I have always purchased from Heartbeat City directly even though I understand he also sells on eBay. So keeping an open mind here, I will relate my experiences with Heartbeat City based on three orders in the 2017-2019 time frame: First off, yes the prices for NOS (New Old Stock-this is the term for original parts, sometimes still in original packaging' which have never been put into service) are somewhat high, but my needs are just that, NOS being my focus. NOS is hard to find and on eBay pricing and bidding put some of the items through the roof on price, and some sellers are less than honest about the parts. Heartbeat City is a comprehensive place where I have been able to find most all of my NOS needs. Having a classic car is always a challenge to keep it running and in good shape, and there are too many cheap and/or inaccurate reproduction parts out there which are not worthy of purchase. This place helps me to keep my car at its' best. Second, this site is loaded with helpful information about the correct parts to use so one can make the right decision on purchases. Third, this site is honest and accurate as to the best or most authentic reproduction part to use. If it is not 100%, it tells you so. Fourth, shipping charges are reasonable. Fifth, issues that have arisen, and there were only a couple, were handled quickly and professionally without drama or excuses. Sixth and finally, the quality of the parts whether NOS or reproduction that I have purchased here have been exactly or better than advertised. Finally, in case there is the question, let me say that I am not related to this company owner, nor am I an acquaintance other than as a business person; I have no horse in this race. Owner is arrogant and has poor knowledge and customer service skills. Purchased a door hinge rebuild kit and was sent parts not compatible with others in the kit nor that matched my originals. Sent him pictures showing his own parts didnt fit with each other and he tried to say I had Nova hinges. He quit answering messages after the first one. I was able to determine with Ecklers help that the detent levers Heartbeat sent were 67 and not 69 which are completely different. Avoid this place at all costs as I see a trend here based on the other reviews. Owner also went on to say GM never used plastic as a bushing from the factory [ actually nylon] so while he thought he was an expert I bet he has never taken a set of hinges apart himself as he couldnt even figure out the difference in the parts he sent me. Factory upper hinges had nylon bushings, not brass. read more

This buisness sucks They sent me an email advertising there super sale. I found a part I was interested in. I purchased it on there website. 2 weeks went by so I called them. They informed me that there ad price was wrong. The dale price of 30.95 was actually 309.95. No one called, no email, no part. I asked for a refund and still have not received it. I ordered the part from Ausleys and got In two days. Still no call back and no refund a month later. Jim mentioned the ad was wrong and he would get it corrected. They sent another flyer for Memorial Day sale with the part listed at 30.95? Do not trust this place. The worst part buying experience ever. 0 stars from me. read more

His prices are outrageous, he misrepresents parts as NOS when they are currently available from GM at a fraction the cost. Don't go near his cars- he advertises original survivors but they have been restored and poorly at that. When you try to talk to this guy he cops an attitude, calls you names and continues to lie. If I could give them less than a 1, I would...these people are outright liars--do not trust them...before you buy ANYTHING from these people, I would review ALL of the negative comments on Ebay; not just the positives. When asked a simple question, the response I received contained several expletives as well as slamming Jesus Christ--it really was unprofessional and unnecessary :( read more
