After he had no improvement and then started to have issues with high blood pressure they sent him to the emergency room. The doctors pumped him full of medication and sent him home with NO improvement of his blood pressure. They did not give him medication to take at home to keep his pressure down. I ended up taking him to the emergency room for high blood pressure in grand island. They were amazing, after they got his blood pressure down they sent us home with medication and a referral to see a doctor, the doctors then did an MRI and CT and found a 10 cm mass wrapped about his kidneys. if Kearney would have taken this more seriously they could of found it earlier and now we are waiting for cancer results. In the future we and our future kids will never go here again!

Omg, I went to their emergency room by ambulance on 6/9/2021. Several RNs were very insensitive…read moretowards me as I expressed the excruciating pain I was having. After, large dosages of one or another pain medication given to me, I called an RN to help me get to a restroom. No one responded. I managed to get off the bed and wave to the male nurse. I got his attention yet he not only ignored me but also moved out of view. When I stepped toward the nursing desk to ask him to guide me to the rest room, I didn't realize the impact the pain medications had and I stumble moreover. I almost fell if not for me holding onto the IV hose attached to the IV bag. As I made eye contact with this nurse upon getting my footing he laughed at me and turned his back. When I told the female RNs of their male counterpart's behavior, no one apologized on his behalf. Upon my discharge from the hospital I informed the physician who treated me of what the male nurse did, to include laughing at me in my time of need. This doctor let me finish describing the incident, and then asked me do I want a taxi. Omg, it's clear why the nurses are poor examples of care givers; for they are trained to be like that by the top down. Bad emergency room staff on this evening's shift.

No security between myself and the actually dangerous. Had to remind staff why I was there as well as my intention not to stay. Also had to remind them I was self admitted!!! I think, for billing purposes, and I'm very serious about this, use your own rectum!!! I'm NEVER coming back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It was not only judgmental but concerning as a parent. The overall tone felt dismissive and lacking empathy. I left there feeling very discouraged. Definitely will not be returning there ever again. My mistake for thinking they could provide decent appropriate care without judgement. I hope this feedback encourages a more compassionate approach toward families in similar situations.

I sent my 18 year old son for a strep test and they added on a covid and flu…read moretest for absolutely no reason - he had a sore throat and given that he was 18 he didn't feel comfortable enough to say no thanks. Received a bill charging $105 for a covid test (costs $20 at the grocery store) and $98 for a flu test. He had no flu-like symptoms. I feel my son was taken advantage of and doctors ran unnecessary tests to make a profit.

I told her what to prescribe. She had no idea. Not even dressed appropriately. Tight jeans and Dr. coat unbuttoned. And then when I was billed on insurance they tried to bill a workman's comp when I cut my finger at work 9 years ago. Took 3 calls including with my insurance company to straighten it out. Will never go back. EVER!
