This woman is a TOTAL scam artist. She took $600 dollars, did our photo shoot, and NEVER responded again after that. I have made 30+ attempts to contact her over the past 5 months with NO RESPONSE. The photos were supposed to be a gift to my grandmother who was terminal... she passed a few weeks ago, and we never got to give her the pictures. My family was heartbroken. read more

DON'T BOOK! We had our family photos taken at Bethany in August 2022. The session itself was fine. It turned out that we were in the same online communities for photographers and I was confident that we were in excellent hands. Unfortunately, she ghosted us after our session, never giving us photos or proofs, and in fact would not respond to emails or phone messages. Our last communication was at the end of our session when she told us our gallery would be ready in 6 weeks. WARNING: Extremely unprofessional and total rip off. First she was a half hour late to our session, then took two months to get us proofs; then when all the faces in the pictures were blurry, she promised to fix it and never did. The quality of her photos is nothing like the ones on her website- I literally paid $800 and can't print a single picture bigger than 4x6. I have reached out again and again without any resolution. We have had our photos taken by Heather for the past two years and she does a fabulous job! We show up with our 4 children and our 3 dogs and she always manages to get a great portrait pic for our Christmas cards! She never even bats an eye about incorporating in our dogs! She is great with kids and animals alike! In addition, she takes wonderful pictures of us individually. She is patient, professional and a lovey person to work with and always willing to try several poses! She is also very well priced for the photos received! I love how she gives the option for disc pics and/or prints. She is really flexible and easy to work with! We look forward to working with her again next year! read more

DO NOT USE!! Don't let the beauty of her pictures fool you. She runs a terrible business and is extremely unprofessional and a scam artist. You pay up front, she takes the pictures and then you never get them. She stops responding to email and text and her voicemail box is full so you can't leave a message. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and they couldn't reach her either so eventually I had to dispute the charge with my credit card company. It's so disappointing and sad that she has memories of my family that I will never see. Do better research then I did beyond the pictures and read the reviews. Heather was very personable and made us comfortable during our shoot. She also responded timely to my phone calls and many emails during the entire process. Let me start by saying that the pictures Heather took were beautiful. However, the customer service and responsiveness after that were not beautiful. We paid for the sitting fee and then another $400 for access to 12 pictures. We were then allowed to order from her lab, or print our own from a zip file. The quality of the photos on the zip file were not great. We tried contacting her through email and phone, with no response. It really was too bad, because we wanted to use these as Christmas gifts. My Family and I got photos done in August we received the proofs in October and have been trying to get ahold of Heather for a month now. We have emailed, called, texted and even resorted to Facebook and Instagram messages with no response. From the proofs these pictures would be perfect but unfortunately right now they are nothing sort of a waste of money :( read more

We researched a bunch of Ocean City photographers and Heather's photos really stood out.....very artful lensing and editing. Though our kids are now 4 and 7 and we did baby photos long ago, we couldn't help notice her baby photos....pretty amazing....don't know how she gets them so peaceful and perfect. We wanted to give a birthday gift to our mom of a family photo shoot in Ocean City and we were sold on her work. After talking to her on the phone it also was clear that she is an artist and also very professional so we committed to a session (for June). We had some specific thoughts on the shots covering our family of eight which ranged in age from 75 to 3 and Heather was very collaborative, accommodating and patient with our ideas leading up to the shoot. Same with execution on the day of the shoot. She showed up on time and ready, and we powered through all 22 shots! that we wanted. Easy peasy on the backend as well. She edited everything for about a week and then we had all of our photos ready to download. You can't go wrong with Heather, and we now have some great memories of our annual family beach trip to look back on for the rest of our lives. read more

Had a session over labor day weekend. The photo shoot was fine. Payment was needed up front. We paid $500. Heather promises us proofs in 2-3 weeks. After many attempts to get the proofs we received them seven weeks later. Heather apologize and saying her Uncle was dying and she was spending time with her family. We totally understood. When it cam time to send her our picks for editing and prints we could not get a hold of Heather. We have texted, email called and even Facebook messaged her..No response.....Please do not waste your money. IT has been months and nothing...... read more

Heather is such an amazing photographer and has a special way of getting to those authentic smiles. She photographed my daughter for her senior photos and with so much separation this year with COVID and so many anticipated ceremonies and traditions not able to happen this year somehow this photo session with Heather is the memory I will hold and forever recall as her graduation and crossing from high school onto college that day on the beach. The proofs were quickly turned around and as I looked at each one it was very emotional to see the artistry of all the unique mannerisms that she caught onto her film.
