As a veteran network news producer who has worked with many photographers and videographers over the decades, I was immediately impressed by the level of forethought she brought to the job. So much of great photography is in the preparation. About 75% of the work happens before you ever press the shutter. Execution becomes the easy part when you have real talent, and Atali has both. She planned her coverage with intention, strategically positioning herself throughout the event. She seemed to be everywhere at once, and her engagement with attendees was consistently professional and warm. Attention to detail is rare in a fluid environment, especially when the rundown shifts on the fly. She kept everyone looking their best during group photos, to the point where you might have thought she was the stylist or the publicist. When I later saw the final images on social media and the event website, everything I had observed that day was confirmed: Atali is skilled, reliable, and genuinely passionate about her craft and her clients. I still work in television and have since referred media networks and individual colleagues to her every time I'm asked for a photographer recommendation in DFW (for headshots, events, and branding). In entertainment, media, public relations, and advertising, your reputation is everything, and Atali has earned an excellent one. During that call, a "questionnaire" was briefly mentioned as a planning tool to help organize the shoot -- it was described as something that could help her plan with ideas like making a theme with a memorable item like a bulldog, color palettes or set ideas.i explained to her I just want minimalistic white background, in a few of my business outfits navy, white and black and one scene sitting at a desk. No cutesy themes. After payment was made, I received a lengthy questionnaire that included personal business questions about myself, my company, and my competitors. This requirement and level of detail were never disclosed prior to payment, and the questions felt unrelated to the simple, minimalist concept I had described (white background, desk scene, and outfit changes). When I expressed discomfort and asked to proceed with a simplified shoot, telling her these questions were a bit much and what more does she really need - my email was ignored and the session was canceled with only a few days notice. She then attempted to retain $300 of my payment for "lost studio time" meanwhile not taking accountability for not disclosing that this questionnaire was mandatory prior to taking payment, and not accounting for only telling me it was mandatory with cancelling on me 3 days before the shoot. I also lost a full day of work that had been set aside for the shoot as well as lost money on items such as clothing had bought and rented for the shoot. Additionally, the tone of communication became condescending, and she made personal attacks about my character that I "don't follow instructions " and am "entitled," which I found unnecessary and unprofessional as it shifts from discussing business terms to judging character, which is never acceptable in a client-provider relationship. Although a refund was eventually issued, it was only offered because I pointed out she had no legal grounds to withhold any of my money and it was her decision to cancel on me. the experience left me feeling disrespected and misled about the requirements and communication style. I hope future clients are given full transparency about all pre-session obligations and are treated with professionalism throughout the process.

The photos will not be covered by the $500 credit. I was told I won a "$1040 valued" Boudoir photoshoot with a $500 credit to "spend on stunning photos". They wanted a $200 deposit that I was told would be refunded if I didn't do the hair and makeup. I opted out of the hair and makeup, made the deposit, and upon my arrival was told repeatedly I did choose for the hair and make up to be done. I knew I didn't, but went ahead anyways given the cosmetologist was already there, and I wanted to look my best--even though I came with hair and makeup up done. I am also a cosmetologist, and she essentially did exactly what I had on just amped a micro amount. I had make up in my bag ready to enhance whatever I needed enhanced. We got to the photoshoot portion, and this was actually a pleasant experience. She did make me feel comfortable, I'll give her that. But after the shoot, we went to go look at the photos. I noticed a price book, but didn't think about it too hard given I had a $500 credit. That's at least one print, yeah? Haha! No. The lowest available option was digital photos for $2000 before my discount!! And they added the $200 from their mistake on my deposit, so even with my $700 credit, that is $1300 (over $1500 through my year long payment plan with interest) for 12 DIGITAL PHOTOS!!! But as it was explained, the more you photos, the cheaper it is. Mind you, I was never told a dollar amount. I left bawling as i expected to pay nothing, as that's what I was told and that's what everything hinted to. Every email and conversation was so misleading and vague and I feel absolutely cheated. I received the photos finally, and as far as I can tell (I used to be into editing photos as we all did in 2016) there is minimal editing to these photos and very loud and easily fixed details that were missed. (ex:I wore a tight bra for a bit and when I changed outfits, I had a faint line from the previous bra and it was not even edited a little) The before and after photos she showed me from other shoots were tastefully, but heavily edited to provide the perfect shot. The only things really edited in my photos were things in the background that showed the set up and such. I am severely disappointed and dissatisfied. I feel like I won nothing but more debt and some poorly edited photos along with a disheartening experience. Do NOT accept the "won experience" from here. Doing the math, I only won $395 worth of anything because, per their website under pricing " The photo shoot experience starts at $395 for regular pricing. That includes the photo shoot, professional makeup application, picture retouching, and the in-person photo viewing for you to order photo products." adding that to my $500 credit, that's only $895. They wanted to say they prepared me for this with the calls and emails, but all they did was gaslight and lie. They gave me 3 free photos after trying to say I don't want the photos to try and keep me from not purchasing them. There is nothing on their site about minimum purchase, nor did I sign anything, but they just "don't do cancellations " even tho she could've canceled the payment through affirm, deleted the photos and been done with it. She refused even though i explained I am broke as shit, told this was a free experience other than the deposit, and didn't expect to pay anything that day. This place is for people who grew up with a pool and and ocean side view with daddies money in their pocket, not for a gal trying to up her confidence and have a fun, new experience she was told that she won.

I had almost forgotten how beautiful the pictures that Roe & White took of our wedding, and seeing it in their amazing format (the photos are actually printed into the book instead of pasted). I forgot the name of it but when you go to meet in their office (which is in their home in Irving, TX) they have tons of samples to look at. They also did our engagement photos which were equally as wonderful. My favorite part of Roe & White is that they helped us organize photos on the day of the wedding, but they were never in the way. I honestly don't even remember seeing them very much, but they took so many beautiful photos and really captured the essence of my wedding day. It was nice on the actual day because I had heard horror stories of "bossy" photographers that tried to take over the wedding, and they are definitely not like that. He was very condescending throughout the wedding and complained the entire time about minor things. He even had the gall to criticize my husband's aunt who was "taking too long" to move during photos. My husband's aunt had been in a coma for four months after a horrible car accident, so we were just so happy that she could come to the wedding, and we were completely appalled when Gerry kept criticizing her. He also raised his voice to our best man and my husband several times throughout the day. Basically, although our photos turned out okay (which I fully attribute to Sherry and her assistant) I would never recommend that anyone use them. Gerry's rudeness, the extremely delayed return of our photos, and the overall quality just do not add up to a decent photography experience.

A week before my photo-shoot she sent me an email confirming all of the details. I live in NJ and my fiancé lives in TX, so communication was extremely important to me. When I met Brianna in person, I fell in love with her energy. You could really tell she loves what she does. This was our first professional photo-shoot, so we had no idea what to do. She gave us a lot of guidance which turned into amazing candid shots. We had three different outfits and locations. Brianna was also open to incorporating our ideas, but I will say, let her do the guiding because she knows what she is doing. She took the time to get to know my fiancé and I throughout the engagement session, which means a lot. My favorite part was her getting my fiancé to laugh and smile in our pictures, because he normally has a side smirk in all of our pictures.
