The play area is really compact, as everything is in a self contained cube, covered in strong netting that goes up to 3 levels in height (almost to the ceiling). So whilst its a good use of space, it doesnt leave much room around the edges for parents to sit and have a rest (there was a private party that had most of the tables reserved). At the same time its the only area where children can run from one area to the next so at times it can also get very crowded. When we went we didnt really relax as the only seats were next to a very noisey football game (yes we expected it to be noisey but not to struggle to speak to each other!). There were also trays of food on tables which hadnt been cleared away, so that didn't leave a great first impression either. When you go it might be quieter and cleaner, but at least our children seemed to enjoy it, and its near to where we live so we might go again. But only if we cant find anywhere better!

Babies, up to 3, little kids up to 5, and the rest of the place for I think up to 8 years old. With my help my little guy (currently not yet 2) could even do the big part and loved the big ball pit. For me and my two kids to get in was around 10 pounds and we were only there about and hour and a half. In fairness, they would have stayed longer but I can only hack these places for so long. They do have a concessions stand but we didn't have food. They do forbid outside food and drink, though I saw people bringing in their own anyway. Also there is an outdoor area that looked really nice that we didn't get to. I am sure we will make it out there next time. Great place though a bit nerve racking when you can't find your kid in the mazes of craziness that go to the ceiling. All in all it was a good time and we will be checking it out again.

Its split into 4 areas by age with the 4 are being an ouside section which i thought was a fantastic idea and a real favourite with my 5 yo girl. Kids will not fail to enjoy. There is a food area and plenty of seats for you to read a paper etc if your happy enough to let your kids go wild :-) Toy shop area as you leave but kids to knackered to even spot it - LOL As a point to note, you park in the main Syon Park area and walk over to the location. It was packed (maybe it was us going at the wrong time!) but the staff we good pleasant and helpful when needed. One criticism i do have is the lockers dont have a locks on them so you have to bring your own lock or buy one. This is slightly annoying! The changing rooms are clean and the booths are perfect for changing / getting babies sorted out! The price was a not too bad, for all three of us (2 adults 1 infant) it came to around £12 which i shouldn't complain at all in all not too bad

Bar staff were good and managed to keep the queues down. Not sure how much more staff were involved so won't comment further on that regard. A full programme of events is scheduled throughout the week with various free-swim blocks built in. The competition and training pools are standard. The leisure pool is a round shelving pool with a wave machine, lazy river/rapids ride and a couple of spas. There's also a children's paddling pool. There are three flumes of varying sizes. The changing areas are poor standard and cold. Cubicles are small and there are insufficient family changing rooms. Lockers are provided. There's a hairdryer bank in the stairwell. Toddler sessions are busy (although numbers are limited) and toys are used in the water.

I've only used the gym and the pool so my review is specific only to those facilities…read more The pool is a little chilly, as others have said, however it isn't a spa pool, it's a swimming pool, so it's going to be chilly and the point is that you swim to warm up. The pool area and changing rooms are broadly clean, with enough locker space. The gym is pretty well equipped, but at its busy times you will struggle to find usable machines and equipment. The users aren't very good at replacing equipment so you can spend a while looking around for certain weights. And the rules regarding not taking in coats and bags aren't enforced, so finding mat space, for example, can become difficult and you end up having to shove some strangers bag to the side because you can't find the owner. Without wanting to sound like I'm young-person-bashing, the after school groups seem to use the gym more as a hang-out, and people of all ages don't seem to have developed the gym etiquette you find in other places regarding being sat on equipment looking at your phone for prolonged periods, denying the equipment to others. The student groups also tend to leave a lot of their belongings scattered in the changing rooms instead of using the lockers which are plentiful. The staff are very friendly, but it would be preferable if they enforced some of the rules & policies. And as a minor criticism I'd prefer lockers you can padlock instead of needing a £1 coin. Overall, it's fine if you're not a core-hours user - it would definitely be better if the policies were enforced, but if you're someone trying to do some exercise after work, particularly in term-time, I'd suggest looking elsewhere.

My biggest complaint would be the swimming pool changing rooms which are way too hot. Also there is occassionally a problem with the heating of the learner pool, but when you complain you get told that it is within regulations. When childrens lips are going blue in the lessons, I would say it is too cold despite what the regulations say.
