They were able to see me without an appointment l. I did the hour long combination massage and the masseur applied the right amount of pressure. This particular male seemed to enjoy driving his elbow into my spine repeatedly while applying all of his weight and strength, several times I asked to stop and of course he spoke to me as if there was a language barrier while he giggled with he woman in the next booth. Don't let the outside appearance deter you, this place is the best reflexology place around. Inside is comfortable and inviting even though the outside appearance might make it seem otherwise. My most recent visit(July 2020) I received an hour foot massage for $35 and that's a steal! Due to COVID, the reflexology massage doesn't include the shoulder/head area like it has in the past but they definitely don't skimp on the foot massage. Definitely recommend making an appointment, which you can usually do the day of. Also make sure to get a frequent punch card - after 10 visits you get a free massage! I had a really terrible day and was hoping for a deep tissue massage. They say walk-ins are welcomed. I'm told that someone was booked to come in so they could give me a combo. I asked for feet and hands because of my neurological pain. They told me 1/2 feet and 1/2 in the room body massage. The feet massage was excellent. The body massage was remove shirt in front of elderly ladies and then it wasn't a massage but an elbow pressed into your back with no massage. I immediately said that was enough, that was not a massage. Two ladies came in and two men and received foot massages after me. Absolutely NO ONE came in for a body massage. I can't stand liars. I went two times this week and they are very busy. I will rate on several areas: Cleanliness - Good Massage chair comfort - adequate, chair doesn;t support the lower back. Towels - Awful - they are old rage that are so rough that they scratch like sandpaper. Capabilities - inconsistent services. Massuesses work all day so by afternoon to evening the massage I received was just stroked focused on one area which becomes annoying to the skin's surface, they use little to no oils or moisturizers, so it's a raw rubbing sensation that is not comforting or relaxing. Even asking them to move to another spot they do not listen or understand so they rub repeatedly. Also the foot massage used to come with a slight head and neck rub but not any longer. Additionally, the register is set to tip 25% and higher and they try to get you to rush so you select those higher gratuity options. Sorry not falling for it. They also don't give a bottle of water after the massage, which is very important. Some suggestions - 1. Turn your phone on vibrate and shut the DUCK sound off 2. Get better soft towels 3. I actually took a nap before my hour was up. The only reason I held back on a star was because I made a reservation for my friend and I. But my friend wanted a Mani/pedi instead of the massage. But they didn't have anyone to take care of her as they had massage appointments scheduled. I also realized they only had one working station for a Mani/pedi. For that reason, friend had to leave and while away time shopping. Totally ruined it for us as we had planned on spending the entire day together. Must go (if only for the novelty)! This was my first time at a place like this (found it on Yelp). $30 (including tip) for a foot massage (mine was exactly 30 min). I walked in at 2pm on a Thursday, no wait. There weren't any customers but one came in with an appointment later on. I had a male massage therapist, so you might want to call in advance if you'd like a female. Be prepared to have your toe knuckles cracked! And they give you a small bottle of water, which is a nice touch. The person at the front desk had a really bad cough, the staff kept speaking with each other loudly, and one of the doors could use some WD40 to fix the squeaking. All distracting, but still fun and relaxing overall. And I think it's located in a completely safe area, though the building itself looks a little odd. I would feel comfortable going back at night. Wow! I've cancelled my massage membership at one of those overpriced massage chains and started coming here as much as possible. Where else can you get a 45 minute foot massage for $32!? And, during that time they also work out whatever pain you may have in your neck & back. And they do wonders!! I've been here countless times, and each time is better than the last.
