Then I had to put on some very attractive paper pants before the lady started to wrap me up using lots of bandages that had been soaked in what can only be described as a clay like substance. They were left on for around 60 minutes whilst I was left to lay on the bed and relax. Afterwards I was measured again and I had lost a combined total of 5 inches from different parts of my body. I assumed the treatment rooms would be quite small however i was pleasantly surprised to find that they were a very decent size! My therapist Hannah, was lovely and immediately made me feel relaxed and comfortable. I had a back neck and shoulder massage, which was amazing, i could really feel the difference....it did get quite painful at one point as i had ALOT of knots in my shoulders but she got them all out and my back felt so much looser afterwards, so she did a brilliant job! Next i had a facial which made my skin feel really fresh and soft and. I was very impressed that Hannah was very knowledgeable, i assumed i had a few whiteheads on my face, she told me straight away its Milia and its very common and how to get rid of them. Lastly i had a manicure and polish, they use OPI polish and there was a good selection of colors available, so its almost been a week now and only minor chips on the tips of a few nails. Hannah told me to take my car keys out before she put the polish on, after the polish was applied she passed me my keys and put my bag on my shoulder for me so that my nails wouldn't get ruined, which was very sweet of her. She is chatty and friendly and good at what she does. My only niggle was that the room was quite cold... and when you're having to remove layers of clothes and lie on a bed with just a blanket over, raising the room temperature is a must! The heater in the room didn't cut the mustard unfortunately. Still, I pointed this out and was compensated with extra blankets which took the bite off, but the building and the sub-zero temperatures outside was the main cause of the problem. Happy to recommend this place to others in the area and, like the other reviewer said, you have to go into the tanning place and up the stairs to get to this. But call to make an appointment and the rest is a breeze.

I've had one or two wax treatments from Julie, who chat's to you like an old friend throughout. Julie also offers an array of other services; massage, including aromatherapy, and facials that include treatments for acne, sensitive skin, anti ageing or something simply to hydrate tired skin. There is also the option of hand and feet care including the obligatory manicures and pedicures although that's not my thing. She remembers everything I talked about during my last treatment and asks how I'm getting on with all my projects. We also swap movie chat and she listens patiently as I tell her about by travels and my writing. Jay has never been late for me despite always being busy.
