I'm in town from MA and decided to get a mani/pedi. I found this place near where I am visiting family and it had 4.4 stars so I trusted that. I should have read the reviews. Both my experience and the outcome (pedi especially) were poor. Pedi was started by a man who trimmed all my nails and then gave a very rough massage. Then Susan took over--and trimmed my nails more, down to nothing. And she cut me (the spray she used was stinging my left big toe and it was raw). When I mentioned it she said no, that the problem was I'd had an ingrown toenail. I didn't arrive there with an ingrown toenail, and I have never had one. At this point she was starting to work on my hands so I made sure to tell her I wanted them square with rounded corners. She hadn't asked me what I wanted--was just aggressively moving forward with trimming and filing at this point. Any tech I have ever gone to, anywhere, had always asked me what shape I prefer. She started painting them and I expressed concern about the color. Instead of stopping and asking if I was ok with it Susan just kept going. Finally she got the sample book back out so I could compare what I was getting with what I had chosen and it looked a little different from the sample. She agreed to change the color but it was clear she was annoyed. (She literally threw the sample book on a nearby chair.) The shop was empty except for me at this point so it wasn't like she had anyone waiting and I was holding her up. (Plus, the man had gone in the back and was lying down.) I ended up paying $61 for the service and I left a $15 tip. I regret leaving a tip and I regret going there at all. It was a pretty disappointing experience to have, especially on a vacation. As I write this, about 12 hours later, my left big toe is hurting. I hope it doesn't get infected. One other note is the pedicure chairs are in rough shape and mine wasn't very comfortable at all. And the massage function was not very adjustable. I do not recommend this nail salon. read more

Fantastic Experience with Susan and Bill! Susan and Bill are an amazing duo! They were incredibly attentive and friendly, making sure all my needs were met. Since it wasn't too busy, I was able to be seen right away as a walk-in, which was a huge plus. The ambiance is surprisingly calm, even though it's centrally located in a bustling shopping center next to Starbucks. It felt like a little oasis of relaxation. Susan is so easy to talk to--I felt like I'd known her forever! She made the experience even more enjoyable. And Bill gave a fantastic foot massage--so relaxing and just what I needed! Regular pedicure review: First, let me start with the very good, because the people who were working, I believe a husband and wife, were very nice! He gave me the best leg massage I've had in a long time! The pedicure itself was not great, I don't like it when they use the drill bits to remove cuticles. It always leaves my cuticles burned. My toes look great, the polish job is very nice. If I ever go back, I will ask them to use the traditional cuticle pusher, and not the drill bits on my toes. read more

Unfortunately I had neglected some self-care and when I was in town to visit family, I needed a pedicure desperately. my mom and I stopped into this place because it was extremely convenient. What a nice surprise. It's a female and male team (I did not ask if they were married). And they are delightful. The pricing is very reasonable. And my pedicure was on point - I highly recommend that at a minimum you opt for the service that includes the 10 minute massage. Bill's massage was fabulous. I was in desperate need of a lip and eyebrow wax, and Susan was able to fit us in before they closed (great family-owned business)! Tried this place for the first time...It seems they don't know much english...The lady answering the phone had a hard time understanding me...I know this because she was giving me answers to questions I wasn't asking...the pedicure guys don't seem to know much English as well... Maybe I should learn some Vietnamese... Why not, I'm already learning Korean... Haha It was a little confusing when I first came in because they didn't tell me where to sit & whom was helping me until they figured it out...which felt like forever...But it wasn't. :-) It's ok..it worked out, just a little awkward at first... Tony was my Pedicure tech... He was very nice but I could tell that he didn't quite understand me & seemed a little anxious about that at first but then he must have realized that I don't bite...haha. It seems that he understood "only cut straight across" his answer was "square" meaning squared edges... Perfect! They used real lemon wedge to clean my & my hubby's nails... Fresh! =) My hubby got the Basic Service and was done in half the time it took to get mine done...I got extra heated lotions & my nails painted... So, I can understand that... But my advice is if you come with your hubby, get the same treatment or send him on errands while you relax :-) hehehe Other than the awkwardness on the phone and when I walked in, everything else went pretty smoothly... Pretty nice massage... I have had better... But I think that Tony might be kind of new...he took longer than expected to paint my nails...But they're perfect! :-) Everyone was nice and smiling there... Just came here for the first time. Treated my niece and myself to deluxe pedicures and gel manicures. The owner did my nails and did a fantastic job. A male nail tech did my toes and messed them up. He cut them too short (ouch!) and nail polish was everywhere. He left right after polishing them. I promptly showed the owner, and she immediately redid them. They look much better, although it won't fix that they're too short. The woman who did my nieces nails did a great job. Like most nail salons, it depends on who you get. BEWARE - I had a horrible experience at this salon. I was assigned an atrocious male nail tech who could better serve as an auto mechanic than nail tech. He immediately started with the Dremel and used it on my skin. I was bleeding profusely and when it wouldn't stop told me to put my foot back in the dirty water. A female tech tried working some damage control and ignored me as I kept saying stop. I had to get up and leave for them to stop. I saw no sign of cleaning any tools. 10 days later I had to go to the doctor as it continued to throb. It's been diagnosed as a staff infection and I am on antibiotics . FYI my usual manicurist at a clean salon is on vacation and next time I'll just wait. read more

This review is based on a single experience. This was my first and LAST time here. I had a pedicure done by a man here and it was terrible. My nails are uneven because he decided it was acceptable to cut nails with a cuticle clipper. He cut them too short and then proceeded to over buff them with the drill. For the record, this wasn't a gel pedicure removal or application. The polish is messy and all over my cuticles, which he didn't trim or even push back. Callous removal was completely useless. My 6 year old niece has a steadier hand and could have done a better job. read more

This is the ugly nail work i got!! I went to buy a car and since the process takes a bit I left my husband at the dealership and went over to this plaza.. I seen the nail salon and it was open or at least didn't deny service. One worker was there and she called I'm guessing the owner? Good gel nails, not busy at all. I was the only one there for about 10mins then someone came in. It was also a weekday and before 5pm.

I've been here two times, and thought I found my go-to place, but my search still continues... First time: One of the ladies did a good job with my fill and replacing a tip. Although, she did nick me w the dremel, it was forgiven because she did exactly what I wanted and quickly too. SECOND (and last) TIME: The same lady nicked me THREE times with the NAIL FILE. The cuts really hurt, and she didn't bother to even say sorry. She also nicked me with the dremel a couple of times as well. As if that wasn't enough for me to just stop the manicure, I stupidly continued. I told her exactly how I wanted it and she proceeded to do what SHE wanted. The shape was completely wrong. I asked for rounded almond shaped nails, she decided to give me squared off tips. I also upon looking at the length decided I wanted them shorter and she gave me attitude asking why I didn't ask her before? I changed my mind, & it's your job to comply with my wants for the service. On my index finger she left a huge glob of acrylic on the underside of my nail that she failed to clean up and it dried that way. Horrible. I asked for her to apply the acrylic thinly because I personally don't like the really thick acrylic on my nails. She proceeded to tell me there is more likeliness of my nails breaking and that she didn't recommend that and it would be more expensive for me to replace tips constantly. Of course I knew that, but what I do with my money (and I see it as more money for them anyway) is my business and choice. I also have slightly crooked fingers (was born that way, lol) and she also blatantly pointed them out and laughed about them. As if I didn't know. I've gone to many nail salons and never have I been treated that way. So rude. I will NOT be returning to this place again!!!!! read more

The owners, Bill and Susan, are very nice and do a very good job with pedicures and nail fills. My favorite thing is the massage of the feet and legs that Bill does. He also will do a 15ish minute shoulder massage. Both cost a bit more but totally worth it. I feel great when I leave. Also Starbucks is right next door so I get a iced drink first. Also for Sun City people it is very close and easy parking. The place is clean and looks nice. read more

This was my first pedicure in the desert. I looked at Yelp reviews and spontaneously decided to go yesterday afternoon. Called around 4pm and was able to get an appointment fairly soon after. Consistent with other reviews, the place is very clean. I was worried about the smell because I get migraines from scents but the air was well circulated and the door was open letting in a cool breeze. Staff including the man who did my pedicure were all friendly and the shop was inviting. I don't have many to compare this one to but I didn't feel like my feet were any softer when I left (I regularly maintain them myself). The polish job was not perfect but perfectly fine. He was meticulous in trimming cuticles and gave a decent massage. He also helped me pick out a color and was very pleasant. Price seemed reasonable given the time and care he took.
