This was the most beautiful camp location I've ever been to! I mean, it's almost like GLAMPING it brought tears to my eyes . Beautiful pavilion to feed hundreds of people, and the campsites are all so close by, while you're still in the midst of beautiful nature. Heber Valley Camp is AMAZING! Run by the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints for young women camps, this camp has everything a group needs to enjoy a comfortable and fun week. Disclaimer, they DO require you to book a whole Monday- Friday stay. I was blown away by the beauty of the camp, the clean bathrooms with hot water (and hot showers), flushing toilets, the spacious cabins for the girls, the kind missionary volunteers, and other amenities including fridges, griddles, storage space, pavillions, and fire pits with amphitheater seating. The lake is super cool! It's surrounded by beautiful trees and just is breathtaking. The girls were allowed to canoe or paddle boat in there. There's also a ropes course and tomohawk throw. The camp is spread out so it doesn't feel crowded even with thousands of people there. It feels safe, too. You can rent it on weekends for family reunions! The only downside for me was not their fault. I'm pregnant so I got altitude sickness even though I'm from Utah. So, just beware of that possibility. It's at an altitude between 7500 and 10500 ft. They did warn me about that before I went. I did all I could to prevent it but I was unsuccessful. It didn't affect anyone else who wasn't pregnant :) read more

Incorrect address for Heber Valley Camp. This review is for 6402 E 1200 S, Heber City, UT 84032. Amazing facility, but rules make it a less than ideal environment for girls camp. Will not return again. Most missionaries are nice, others not so much. read more
