When I asked him if he could put that in a quick memo for the VA, he stated he couldn't because my sleep study was "inconclusive." So did he think that I would just suddenly NOT HAVE SLEEP APNEA if my study had lasted another 4 hours?! He couldn't just write that the study showed that I do have sleep apnea which was tracked for x amount of hours? As many times as I had previously gone there to get my teeth cleaned I really didn't think I was asking too much. So unfortunately I can only give this dental practice 1 star, if I could give it zero stars I would.

Based on my research the zirconia arches are under a $1000 each and implants are available for under $100 each. I let them know on the phone that I had a hard limit of $20k for this procedure but they still asked me come in anyway. After pleasantries, I reiterated my hard limit and they continued to go through the imaging process. In the end they presented an itemization that added up to over $72k and then graciously reduced that, by doing nothing, to just under $50k. The Hippocratic oath indicates a doctor should do no harm. That should include psychological and financial harm. Based on my calculations they are attempting a profit margin of ~1000%. Had they been honest and transparent I would have respectfully accepted the fact they could not meet my price point. Instead they had me take a day off work, drive 5 hours, and waste my time. This office needs to respect their clients more and reconsider their ethics. example retail dental supply pricing. When I show up today, I was told they have scheduled me on September 9th, that the doctor wasn't in and that my old appointment was filled so now I have to wait a full week with half a tooth to get it repaired. And they acted like it was my fault that they wrote down the wrong day on their calendar. Incompetence is one thing, but incompetence with an attitude is just plain unacceptable. The dentist hurriedly mixed the substance, alginate, which is used to fill the mouth plate that will be inserted to make the mold. The substance was very liquidy and had the consistency of a slime or glue, not the creamy consistency it's supposed to have. The dentist piled the stuff on the mouth plate being so sloppy and careless that it was literally dripping off and the sides and back. I told the doctor not to put it in my son's mouth, that he would choke. The dentist only said "it's fine" and proceeded to place it in my son's mouth against my wishes. A moment later I saw the substance actually falling off and dripping globs into the back on my son's throat going into his esophagus. He was gagging and choking and I yelled for the dentist to take out the place multiple times, and all he did was ignore my cries, ignore my son's distress and force him to endure ingestion of the alginate while choking. He took out the plate and my son began heaving and vomiting right there in the chair. The dentist only said "the impressions should be ready in two weeks." This man is pure evil. Please spread the word and never ever go there and hopefully with the measures I'm taking he will not have a licence to practice much longer.
