When I asked him if he could put that in a quick memo for the VA, he stated he couldn't because my sleep study was "inconclusive." So did he think that I would just suddenly NOT HAVE SLEEP APNEA if my study had lasted another 4 hours?! He couldn't just write that the study showed that I do have sleep apnea which was tracked for x amount of hours? As many times as I had previously gone there to get my teeth cleaned I really didn't think I was asking too much. So unfortunately I can only give this dental practice 1 star, if I could give it zero stars I would.

Based on my research the zirconia arches are under a $1000 each and implants are available for under $100 each. I let them know on the phone that I had a hard limit of $20k for this procedure but they still asked me come in anyway. After pleasantries, I reiterated my hard limit and they continued to go through the imaging process. In the end they presented an itemization that added up to over $72k and then graciously reduced that, by doing nothing, to just under $50k. The Hippocratic oath indicates a doctor should do no harm. That should include psychological and financial harm. Based on my calculations they are attempting a profit margin of ~1000%. Had they been honest and transparent I would have respectfully accepted the fact they could not meet my price point. Instead they had me take a day off work, drive 5 hours, and waste my time. This office needs to respect their clients more and reconsider their ethics. example retail dental supply pricing. And they acted like it was my fault that they wrote down the wrong day on their calendar. Incompetence is one thing, but incompetence with an attitude is just plain unacceptable. On approximately September 7, 2026, I visited Dr. Hailey's practice in active, severe dental pain. During this initial evaluation, I was charged $150 for X-rays. I was subsequently charged an additional $90 for further X-rays, totaling $240 out of pocket. Despite taking multiple sets of images and collecting these fees, Dr. Hailey stated he did not know what was causing my pain, dismissed my symptoms as simple "food discoloration," and failed to provide any diagnosis, treatment plan, or specialist referral. Because I was left in severe pain with no medical guidance, I sought an immediate second opinion the following day at a separate dental practice in Crystal City, Texas. Within five minutes of a standard clinical evaluation and advanced imaging, the second provider immediately diagnosed a severely rotten back molar (cavity) and active gum disease (gingivitis). I was immediately placed on a 7-day course of prescription Penicillin to treat the active infection ahead of an emergency extraction. Furthermore, the administrative conduct at Dr. Hailey's office was highly unprofessional. Front desk staff made unsolicited, inappropriate personal comments regarding my physical appearance and age. When my mother later called the office to politely inform them that a second opinion had successfully identified a major cavity they missed, the office staff immediately hung up the phone on her. The office of Dr. Hailey collected significant out-of-pocket fees while leaving a patient with a severe, active infection completely untreated and undiagnosed. I am deeply concerned that this pattern of poor clinical standards, duplicate billing, and defensive intimidation poses a direct risk to vulnerable patients, low-income families, and children in our community.
