Please consider filing a CFPB complaint (Consumer Finance Protection Bureau) or Better Business Bureau complaint if you've had a similar experience. It scares me that they have guns. Today I was virtually bullied off of the property, why? Well let me quote the staff, "You filed a complaint so you're not welcome here." I had a bad customer experience with FIRST NATIONAL PAWN, Grand Junction, CO. on 11/24/2021. I felt so strongly about being judged, dismissed, discounted as a person and experienced extremely poor customer service, so I also submitted a Better Business Bureau Complaint on 12/6/21 Ref# 56266. This week I will also be filing consumer complaints. Attached Images of 1. employee blocking me from driving away, 2.another employee picked up a brick and started to get behind me, 3. employee laughed when I was being refused service saying aloud that my hands shook due to PTSD, 4. employee covered up his face-clearly to avoid being identified and due to the embarrassing actions of his coworkers. Not family friendly…read more Any place where I can't take my family is dead to me. I had an armload of purchases when my 3 year old said she was about to wet her pants. The slob at the counter said no restrooms, no exceptions. So, we dropped everything, jumped in the truck, and ran to the closest store with employees who care. I shopped here steadily for years, but I would be a fool to return. If you can't trust me with your bathroom during a family emergency, I can't trust you with my business.

I'm by no means a 'huntress' but I had the best time talking to John (the owner) about some hunting stories. He's one of the kindest and most joyful humans I've ever met. He answered questions I had about some of the guitars and equipment but I never felt any pressure to hand over my credit card right away; he is just extremely passionate about what he does and what he carries in his shop. The jewelry here is incredible - I could peep in those glass cases oo'ing and aww'ing all day. There's so much unique turquoise, diamonds and gold. When in Grand Junction, a trip to Big J is a must!

I had an idea of what I was looking for and he was able to help me narrow down my choice to a pistol that ended up being the perfect option for me. I didn't check out the used items, but the prices for the new guns are very reasonable.
