The whole grilled baby chicken is a must have and the veal was solid too. The tuna main, you can't go wrong with, but it had a very very strong fishy Tuna taste to it. Not for everyone, so beware! As for the starters, the pizza was solid, burrata we wolfed down, now, the fried squid; that.. we inhaled I'm getting full again writing this review! To top it all off, they always say that there's a second stomach for dessert right? The tiramisu did just that! Overall, an A+ experience! My favorite is the salad box with EVERYTHING in it; lettuce, avocados, beets, coleslaw, pasta salad... other stuff... dressing! and it's only £2.30 or some ridiculous price like that. It's perfect towards the end of the month when you are surviving on the dregs of your last paycheck, but you are too lazy to pack a lunch. It's only open for lunch, so unless you work in waterloo I probably wont see you there.

As Suzanne said, the ladies at the counter are unbelievably friendly. They patiently explained the specials to me and then made sure I got exactly the sandwich I wanted with an overwhelming assortment of ingredients. For £3.60 I got a delicious, fresh and filling (huge!) sandwich and for another £1 I spontaneously nabbed one of the sweets on the counter - some kind of bar with chocolate and caramel - which tasted like it had been made that same day and was heavenly. Students at KCL Waterloo campus should know about this spot as it is about 1 minute from campus and the food is WAY better (and no more expensive) than the stuff at the cafeteria.

My only quibble was that they cooked them hotter than some places, so there was a lot of un-rendered fat. - 5 stars for the service - friendly, helpful, gave us a full carafe of tap water, and everything was prompt. No complaints at all. - 5 stars for the atmosphere - casual but not dumpy, perfect for a quick but tasty lunch on a Saturday afternoon. Because I wanted to see what Britain's take on American fare would be like. And what's more American than that? No. Don't answer. There's a lot more that's more American. The seasoning on the turkey is amazing. That alone floored me. Somehow, Britons found a way to take American fare and make it 400x better just by seasoning it differently. The buns were well cooked, the onion rings were battered perfectly and it all just overall felt that much more satisfying to eat. For £8.50. Will I come back next time I'm in Britain? Yuppppp and yesssss.

Just discovered this dinky little place on a back street on Soho serving very nice freshly made…read moresandwiches, pastas, jacket potatoes, etc. The food is inexpensive and you build your own sandwich to taste for a reasonable price. It's a small place and looks like it'll get busy at lunch time so if you want to eat-in you might need to go when it's less busy. It was obviously popular with locals too as there was a queue out the door and the friendly staff knew a few of the customers by name.

Service was friendly and they were keen to show off the place. I work nearby so, I knew they'd have a nice view but didn't realise just how spacious it was in there. I don't normally do Pret because they are all overpriced but I'm glad I stopped in to see all the fuss. Table layout is good and of course, it's new so it's spanking clean.
