I also had the opportunity to taste the dishes from the other three at our table. I loved the mixed seafood plate and for €25 it was a bargain. High quality seafood costs a lot in this country and for what I ate, I would happily pay that again. The taste was superb and the fish cooked to perfection. The Forelle and the Norwegian salmon were also excellent and cooked to perfection. There are a few desserts here and I tried the Apfelküchl which was also quite ok. Coffee is not bad and the service was quick and friendly. It's a touristy restaurant as it's located in the area with old historical buildings but, the food was good and of high quality. I would happily come here again anytime. Good seafood is hard to find in this country and this place does it very well :-))

The dinning area is lovely and oozing of rustic charm but the low ceilings and cramped quarters might make some feel a bit claustrophobic. Although the food, traditional German fare, appears simple in its execution, the quality of the ingredients and the service makes an evening at Zur Forelle a thoroughly enjoyable experience.
