We had Heirloom Catering Co, led by Donna and her phenomenal team, cater our company's annual party, and everything about the experience was truly off the charts. From service to presentation to flavor, this was catering done at the highest level. The appetizers alone set the tone for the evening (they disappeared so fast I couldn't even grab photos). The chicken meatballs, ahi tuna served in tiny cones, and cheese sandwiches were beyond amazing -- an exceptional start that had many of us (myself included) going back for repeats. Dinner featured a beautifully varied and thoughtfully curated spread, with every dish clearly prepared with heart and soul: Harvest Salad that had fresh, clean, organic greens, apple et al with vibrant flavors Butter-braised eggplant topped with peppers, comfort food with elegance, delicious through and through Grilled vegetables (cauliflower, carrots, Brussels sprouts), inviting presentation and exceptional taste Salmon, outstandingly good; I went back for seconds and it made my plate both times without hesitation Vegetarian rigatoni with creamy pumpkin sauce that was rich, balanced, and incredibly satisfying Herb-grilled chicken breast; juicy, flavorful, and perfectly executed Dessert deserves a special mention as well, while I personally didn't get to try it, I heard constant praise throughout the evening, time and again, from guests walking between tables and the food stations. Donna and her team delivered far more than food as they created a seamless, elevated experience. We hired Leann to cater for our film crew for an entire week, three meals a day, and I honestly can't recommend her enough. Every single meal was fresh, on time, and delicious. Our cast and crew were blown away by the variety. The salmon was especially incredible, so fresh and perfectly cooked. Nothing was ever dried out or bland, which is saying a lot for large-scale catering. The setup was also beautiful with printed menus, clean and organized chafing dishes, and everything was cleaned up seamlessly. Leann was an absolute joy to work with. I was lucky enough to be a guest at an event catered by Heirloom, and I was so impressed I decided I had to write a review. The service was extremely professional, they clearly have experienced staff who were able to be helpful and responsive even as the event was going on around them. Heirloom catered my office holiday party on just a couple of weeks' notice, and with a couple unusual requirements. My expectations were exceeded in every respect, such as the real garland centerpiece that they put on the boardroom table, the linens, glassware, and silverware, and especially the service. The staff were literally standing in the room making sure that we were all completely satisfied. The setup integrated nicely with our karaoke rental, which was itself a big hit. I loved how the liquor and beverages that I provided were presented to guests-- it added so much to the event that would not be the case with a self-service bar. Ana had visited the site the week before the event and was taking notes of all the features in the space, as well as the requirements. We had a couple of vegetarians, so it was helpful getting a separate vegetarian dish and vegetarian appetizers for them as well. The prices were completely fair and I have zero complaints-- was a great value overall. Everyone had a great time, and Ana even followed up with me the next day to make sure my expectations were met. We hired Heirloom Catering to cater our dinner at home for 10 for the evening of our wedding. It was delicious and very well done! Jayne was a phenomenal partner leading up to the event to help us craft the perfect menu and set up the right logistics. She was responsive to our budgetary constraints as well as our dreams about the evening. The food was delicious. In particular, we loved the peach and burrata salad and pesto grilled shrimp. There was plenty of food and the leftovers have been delicious as well in the days after. We also hired Megan to help us set everything up, serve, and clean up. She was incredible! She was very flexible, adjusting in real time to our schedule and helping us pour the champagne on our live Zoom toast. She also managed the delicate wedding cakes like a pro. She also wore a mask and gloves the entire time to make sure we all felt comfortable with health and safety. I just ordered our easter dinner from Heirloom Catering Co -- it arrived on time and the food was absolutely amazing (salmon, lamb chops, risotto, asparagus, beautiful cream puffs). Something I really liked was that the food came in foil tins with specific reheating instructions. All I had to do was stick it in the oven for approx 30 minutes in the same tins they delivered the food in and then transfer it to serving platters (this was for takeout, so I'd imagine if they cater your event in non-quarantine times they bring their own trays, etc.). I reached out to my contact Brittney, knowing that with their cancellation policy as is, they could rightfully keep my deposit. She spoke with the owners of the company and they kindly and generously offered to work with me, due to my Dad's age and the ever changing Covid climate. They are always professional and fun to work with. I recommend their catering service whenever possible, and never has anyone ever been less than extremely complimentary and satisfied with the excellent service and experience. My office orders lunch from here fairly often, and I do not look forward to those days. Simply prepared food, such as the Palace Cafe serves, can be great as long as the preparer takes care to do little things correctly. Palace Cafe fails to do these things that would greatly enhance their food's quality. So wet lettuce leads to watery dressing pooling at the bottom of the bowl or container, sandwich fillings (probably overcooked) fall out every which way, and "freshly" squeezed orange juice has been sitting around all day. The only pluses I can think of are that the staff is unfailingly polite and the location is nice. read more

This review is focused on the winning Catering Service we received from the Palace Cafe for our party of 200 people. With a mix of 150 adults and 50 children, the Palace customized a menu of extraordinary taste, variety and generous portions that left our guests gushing about the food. This was a birthday dinner at the Hiller Aviation Museum which constrains the staging into tight schedules as the museum is open for patrons during the day. The Palace team navigated the schedules and delivered a logistical as well as "foodie" success. The service folks ran the bar, the food and helped with kid's meals and I just couldn't be happier. We are picky about catering food as we just didn't want the usual assortment that one sees at a Las Vegas Buffet. The Palace gave us extensive options and we were confident they could "pull off" the unique dishes we blended with some traditional staples. I have read the reviews on the little Cafe on Murphy and must say that some of those reviews miss one very important mark. We discovered the uniqueness and variety of food dropping by the cafe and when it was time to consider a caterer, it was that healthy but fresh variety at the cafe that convinced us that we had found the perfect caterer. Break the mold and try a caterer who understands food with the catering experience to deliver a wonderful event. My review is solely based on the catering from Palace Cafe. They were on time and reliable. The food was fresh, and the presentations were lovely. I especially liked the make your own sandwiches platters. Palace just provided so many different options - loads of breads, veggies and meats. We had a penne pasta salad with a light pesto and sun dried tomatoes that was simple, but could have used a bit more zip. The baked goods were wonderful - especially the decadent brownies. The staff reset the food without disrupting the meeting, as well. The only downside was they didn't leave us quite enough coffee and cream. read more

Just had them cater my twins 1st birthday! The food was amazing and I kept getting compliments on it. Dianna and Leslie were most pleasant when dealing with the whole process of ordering and delivery. I knew what I wanted and they were able to make it happen! Prior to having them cater, my husband and I would (and still do) frequent this place for brunch and or coffee. Such a great place to kick back and have a nice meal. On a nice day its perfect for outdoor seating with the stroller! We recently used the Palace Cafe to cater the luncheon after my daughter's graduation. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. The service and flexibility was stellar. We needed to keep to a budget, so (director of catering) Kari Walters worked with us to provide high quality food with a little more hands on involvement on our end (set up, clean up, beverages). It worked out perfectly. Their catering menu is extensive, and we had no problem accommodating our vegan guests along with the carnivores. Our menu included appetizers of vegetarian spring rolls with chile-mint dipping sauce and a cheese and fruit platter with a main course of sliced duck breast with arugula and grilled peaches, beef satay with spicy peanut sauce, and several delectable salads: Classic Caesar, Beet and Citrus, and Summer Vegetable Quinoa Salad. This was topped by a tray of mini gourmet desserts that was the perfect complement to the meal. The food was delivered on time and set up nicely on our serving table. All the guests commented on the quality and flavor of the dishes. Called just to find out that someone made a mistake and our order was never handled. It was a devistating blow but luckily we called in a favor and got food for the meeting.
