HORRIBLE! Booked both a manicure and pedicure, once got there, they only had me down for a pedicure with no time for a manicure. Against my better judgement, I stayed and had a horrible time because I was in a bad mood because of that. I'm on vacation and my honey wanted to treat me! Ended up being very happy. The $18 manicure is the same price I pay for in DC (Hello Gorgeous had a 15% discount special), but they don't put on a top coat, (I used a computer for my line of work) so I'm worried that the paint will chip soon. Service/Product: I am getting electrolysis on my chin and neck to remove dark, bristly hairs. I have been very impressed at how greatly the hair growth has been reduced after just a few sessions. The discomfort of the electrolysis is minimal, and is somewhat offset by the soothing environment and aromatherapy. I have also opted to receive some sugaring treatments to further help remove hairs, and I absolutely LOVE how soft my face feels after being sugared. Staff/Owner: I did not expect to find such a neat place and neat people. The staff I first encountered were kind and professional, and the owner is incredibly thorough as she conducts the electrolysis. Environment: This isn't your stereotypical, over-priced chic salon. The costs are kept low by the owner operating out of an older building in a small town. However, the salon is well kept, clean, relaxing, and works just fine for me. Don't be put off from this great place just because it doesn't look like a big-city salon. read more

I went for my very first electrolysis session and I was thoroughly impressed! Suzy was so friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable! It was virtually painless!! Better still, she has a ton of knowledge on essential oils and other products that I am quite positive can help me heal and improve my health NATURALLY instead of using drugs for everything. Suzi is great!! She is so professional and does an amazing job. I have had Brazilians before by others and she is amazing at it. Sugaring is the way to go!! I think the early reviews from years ago were with other people other than Suzi herself. She has always been great! She is on her own now and is doing wonderful. Facial was absolutely wonderful. Very skilled and calming. My face already feels better. The facility was home-y and comforting. The only thing that bothered me was that they automatically added gratuity without asking, which I was going to give a hefty tip anyways, but just to automatically without prior notification this was required threw me off. Also, it was supposed to be 90 minutes, including consult but mine was 70 minutes that included the consult as well.. so unsure of that miscommunication. Overall, pretty pleasant experience with a great, well done facial and very decent price- just need to fix the business/logistics side slightly. read more

Don't waste your time or money with this salon. Although the salon itself is gorgeous the service failed miserably. I went in for a haircut and was done in 20 minutes with a haircut that was longer on one side. I have never had a haircut that was only 20 minutes start to finish-- I am sure Great Clips would have taken better care of my hair! I wouldn't go back even if the services were free. read more
