Be very careful because price can add up. I think it's very important for the company to emphasize the required tipping that's happening here. I appreciated the moving but I ended up having so much more save having to hire other people to clean up after them. The movers don't understand English as much, and when handed them the list of what to move, they ended up not reading it. I felt like it added to my stress that I can't just hand them a list of what to pick up. They were also showing up earlier and my apartment wasn't available yet when they're done packing. Everything seems to be a rush and I ended up paying $300 extra than what I initially planned for. The movers worked hard but they aren't really supportive on following instructions. read more

After initially saying they would compensate us for the TVs, they ghosted us and now we're having to file in small claims court. DO NOT USE HELLO MOVERS!!! I am warning you. They are very unprofessional and worst service one can imagine. The movers made scratches on my expensive items and when I called them to address the issue, they hung up on me. It looks like they blocked my number completely. My husband called with another number and they answered right away. Then when he explained the issue, they hung up the phone again. I reported the issue and sent the photos 5minutes after the move, and it seems they block your number once they have your money. They don't reply back to messages, no way to file a claim or talk to them after service since they will just block your number. They will yell at you and hang up the phone while youre talking. Especially compared to SOS Movers I used in 2020, this crew was awful in so many ways. I made a 2pm booking with Hello Movers and didn't have a crew arrive until 6pm. The movers were slow and seemed tired. They did not wrap anything to protect it whatsoever, unless I instructed them to wrap each specific item --even when it was raining out-- and nobody in their crew spoke much English. Around 10:30pm, the one guy who spoke some English kept trying to offer alternatives to the job not being done that day as planned, but the alternatives offered were all things that would cost me even more money and inconvenience than if we did it in one trip as originally ordered. Another crew was called in to replace the ones who needed to sleep, and the large truck finally pulled up to the rainy residential area at 12:30AM. It wasn't until AFTER 3am the job was finished, and several items were damaged. read more

My large furniture was wrapped for protection; these items along with my boxes and plants were loaded and unloaded in two hours. I would use there services again. Pretty good service as far as communication but unfortunately, all of my wood furniture ended up with huge deep scratches. The pieces are all cusyom and quite expensive and that was really dissapointing to see that they have deep huge scratches from not being properly unloaded. I also noticed that they unloaded things all over the place and yes it was quick, but they did not pay attention to the boxes marked 'fragile.' Over all, the moved was okay. I had no complaints when they were moving things. Communication was difficult since they don't speak a lot of English. They tried to wrap everything as much as they could which was appreciated. One of my main issues started when they finished unloading everything. Since they don't speak or read English well, there were a few boxes where they stacked all the heavy items ie. Canned goods and books, on top of FRAGILE items. This happened on a few stacks. I also noticed a crack and chip on my main dresser. The way the mover tilted and lifted it out too much pressure on the foot of the dresser. I saw and heard while he did this, but I did not say anything. Not complaining about it since it's only a crack but I want to put all the details in. Aside from the move they add an automatic tip to themselves per mover which was not stated. I had no idea at the time when I payed since they were so cheap. Tip was twenty five each mover. My complaint is the 55inch Samsung TV that they moved. I had not touched it for 10 days since they set it down. I didn't set it up yet since I don't watch a lot of tv and wanted to get settled with everything first. When I removed the wrap that they put, my wife saw a bubble on the bottom. We plugged it in and there it was. Damaged TV. I'll post pictures. Talked to them and asked if they had insurance. They said it took too long for me to claim insurance. I reported it to them 10 days after the move, how is that long? And why does insurance have a time limit? Maybe they don't really have insurance! I don't know but it seems sketchy. Tv was about $600. I said pay half at least! They said no. Overall, you get what you pay for. I thought I saved money by hiring these guys, but I'm out 330 plus 600 cost of my tv. SMH. I really wanted to like these guys and write a good review for them. But the way they handled this damaged tv was no good. I would not hire these guys even if they are the cheapest out there. You will also get the cheapest quality service. read more
