The staff was super friendly and chatty, very helpful with the menu and options. The veg egg rolls and tofu sandwich were good. The pho was just okay, it was some flavor in the broth that was just off to me. I'll prob order something else next time but will def come back and try again.

Hello Vietnam is a wonderful spot to grab Vietnamese in Philadelphia. They have all of your favorite Vietnamese dishes from pho, rice bowls, and vermicelli noodles. A small cozy spot with wonderful service. In fact we met the owner and he was really helpful and very knowledgeable about the food and culture Vietnam. The food was delicious the vermicelli notably very flavorful and served in a very generous bowl. Can't recommend this place enough for Vietnamese and incredible service.

Pho at its best. Just the right amount of spices and fatty broth. The aromatics fills your nostrils with the warmth and vibrant of a small village in Vietnam. Everything was expertly prepared and the presentation was second to none. I will visit this friendly staff for more brilliant Pho in the future.

The first time we came here, there were no physical menus. We had to scan a code with our phones to see the menu. I don't like places that do that, so I probably would not have come again. We did come again though and I am glad we did. They have actual physical menus now. They had banh cuon on the menu. Banh cuon is a dish I used to eat as a kid but had not had for many years because it is usually served with pork and I no longer eat pork. I was happy to be able to order the banh cuon with shrimp. Everything looked great and the shrimp was crispy and not burnt. Also, the server (I think he's also the chef) was very cool and friendly. I would definitely come here again.

Some of the best vermicelli and rice dishes in Philly! Always can rely on my meal being fresh and flavorful when I come to Hello Vietnam. No frills place, and the owners and staff are all extremely welcoming and hospitable. Definitely check it out!

Yummy!! Food is fresh and service is kind. This spot is still pretty contactless (QR code menu, order placed online even when seated, though you can have some server support) so that was slightly odd, but it made it an easy spot to catch up with a friend over some light bites. We came midafternoon on a Saturday and found it to be quiet, though there were some online orders being picked up. Their shrimp summer rolls are great, and I've also enjoyed their tofu broken rice in tomato sauce. Prices were decent, especially for their NoLibs location.

I was craving pho and so glad I found this place!! I ordered the combo beef pho with an iced Vietnamese coffee (not pictured) and my friend ordered the bbq sliced pork vermicelli. Both dishes were just absolutely delicious! I'm a big fan of soup noodles (especially pho) and I always like to try the broth before adding anything to it. I have to say, this broth was truly mouth watering. I tried some of the vermicelli and that was equally as flavorful. My boyfriend tried my broth and was also amazed at how delicious it was. The owner (I'm assuming he was the owner) was so friendly and attentive and the restaurant itself had such a nice ambiance. Place isn't super big but honestly, that's perfect. Highly recommend checking this place out if you're in the area! For everything we ordered plus 22% tip, it was $47.

Filet mignon pho. I also have shrimp summer rolls- they come with warm freshly cooked shrimp. Perfect.

The biggest surprise was the tái (eye-round steak), yet still retaining that pleasantly chewy texture of undercooked beef; the gầu (fat brisket) was thick and crisp, fragrant but not greasy--who would have thought I'd find brisket fat here? This showed the restaurant's precise control over the broth temperature and the thickness of the beef. Almost all phở restaurants claim to offer authentic raw beef or various cuts of beef, but very few can truly make customers feel the difference. The restaurant's decor is simple but spacious and clean; the service is average, but very efficient. Efficiency is essential for phở, otherwise the beef would be overcooked in the hot broth. After all, the essence of a restaurant is food, and for such affordable ones, it's gratifying to see them spend most of their costs on the food itself.

The fresh smell of their noodles brings back nice childhood memories. Their food has always been great and their broth is absolutely delicious. Me and my siblings always clear the entire bowl and leave nothing behind. Their spring rolls are a MUST TRY because it's always very crispy and steaming hot when they serve it to you. The drinks are amazing especially their fruit smoothies because they use actual fresh fruits so their drinks end up having a lot of flavor. The staff here are very nice that we even managed to get along with some of them. You can rest assured that you WILL get what you paid for because they fill their bowls to the brim. There's always going to be a good amount of food in each of their dishes so feel free to order whatever you crave. Couple tips: Try to eat AT the place to ensure that your food is fresh and good. Take out for the most part isn't really good because your food is literally just sitting there until you get it or until you open it up and eat it. USE THEIR SAUCES!!! Or make your own sauce with the ones provided. Always makes a difference when I dip food in it or mix it with the soup. Don't be afraid to come with a big group of people. They have an upstairs seating area too but I guess if you're coming with a lot of people just let them know in advance before entering. A bit on the higher priced side for this dish but as I've had some great food from a different Han Dynasty location I didn't mind trying them out. Portion size was average on the chicken. The spice level says 8/10 but it was definitely on the weaker side. Maybe the peppers themselves were older / dried out and the flavor faded too much vs fresher peppers right before cooking. Maybe a bad choice of dish or an off day but as compared to a few other Sichuan dry pepper dishes from other restaurants around Philly it was a clear step below them. Might try a different choice if I order again.
