I understand that it will be next to where the old senior center building was at 3450 W. 97th Street ---a few blocks away from this temporary location. This is the fourth time I have been to this senior center. I come here each year to have my income taxes done. Wonderful AARP tax volunteers file tax forms for senior citizens at this time of year. This service is free. There is a large jar near the sign - in sheets. You can leave a donation for the Senior Center as a "thank you" for providing this service. The staff of the Senior Center have always been pleasant and helpful whenever I have called to make an appointment or when I checked in for that appointment. They always call with a reminder the afternoon before my appointment, which is very nice. I did not happen to encounter any staff members today. The sign-in table was outside of a large room on the lower level where the tax help is set up. Although I only saw the lower level of the building, it was pleasant enough. As I entered the building through the rear door, I noticed an elevator, so the building is definitely senior friendly. Down the hall just past the elevator, I noticed the restrooms. The ladies restroom was very nice. There is plenty of parking in the rear of the building and it can be accessed from either side of the building. Hopefully, some other senior(s) who frequent/s this center will provide more info about the activities in a Yelp review. As for me, I am most thankful to the Village of Evergreen Park, the staff of the Evergreen Park Senior Center and the wonderful AARP tax consultants for providing this service. My son attended daycare/preschool here at Little Inspirations. It was absolutely wonderful. Staff was fantastic, programming was outstanding, the meals were homemade and smelled amazing. Exactly what you would dream to get from any place for your little one. We attended Tot Lot and Nature Club, both aimed at toddlers. Both fantastic. My son is mad every Wednesday now because he has to go to Kindergarten instead of doing more Nature Club. We do afterschool care a couple days a week, and also sometimes send my son for the school vacation day programs. (It is so incredibly helpful to be able to sign him up for fun programming on week days when their is no school! And luckily it's fun enough that he doesn't complain about going!) I as a parent have done caregiver fitness classes (I really need to start going again!!!!) I have also played badminton.

I highly recommend them if you want your little one to excel and surpass the other kids once they get into kindergarten. That's not just me either. We plan on bringing our future child to Cadence as well. The teachers are fantastic. Jen truly cares about each and every family that goes to Cadence, and it cascades down to their teachers. I just finished the 3 hour CCL renewal at HBT Security in Homer Glen. (October 12, 2025) I took the…read more8 hour course in 2020 with same business and same instructor, Chris Harrington. I highly recommend this business. Chris is an excellent instructor. He knows the laws, answers the questions and encourages students to reach out after the class with questions or how to navigate the online registration for CCL. Chris is very nice and has a nice sense of humor. Went to the range to qualify and I was very nervous as it has been a while since I went shooting. Chris helped me throughout the whole shooting process, giving me instructions and tips on how to load, check, stand, etc. Absolutely go to HBT. Worth it.
