We met with a few contractors and we knew almost immediately that we wanted to work with Dave. His professionalism and knowledge were apparent right from the start. Dave is a an excellent advisor and problem-solver. His work is top-notch and he has the ability to understand your vision and make it happen. He guided our design choices for flooring, woodwork, and other materials. We decided to do built in bunkbeds, which Dave designed. They are perfect. He had siderails made that match the hardware we chose for the doors. He added tongue and grove to the bottom of the top bunks (the "ceiling" of the bottom bunk) to match the ceiling in the rooms, and storage under the bottom bunks. None of those were things we had requested but really added to the look and functionality of the room. This all might make it seem that we spent a fortune but our project came within our expected budget. Dave's estimate was accurate and he was able to accurately project the cost of additions we decided to make along the way. Since last October, I spent over $1,000.00 for Teed to try fix my furnace. I have had to miss work…read moreand spend days sitting in a cold house with space heaters running. Josh last came to my house on Friday, 1/3 and by Sunday 1/5, I did not have heat. I was told by two separate companies (1/7/25 and 1/8/25) that the problem with my furnace is that there are two cracks in the heat exchanger. One company said they most likely had been there for a long time and that I had carbon monoxide leaking in my house. One company told me Teed should have not continuously charged me for labor until they either fixed the problem or were able to detail why I needed a new furnace. In spite of this, Teed wants me to pay them an additional $546.80 for the work done on 1/3 and has threated to put a lien on my home if I don't pay. They now say that they continuously told me I needed a new furnace, and I didn't listen. This is not true. I worked with Mike years ago and had great service. I mostly worked with Josh this time and this is completely unacceptable.
