Also the massage therapist from Colombia known as "Claudia" was too aggressive and forceful while trying to straighten my stiff shoulder and she was causing me extreme, extra, unnecessary shoulder and arm pain during therapy. She didn't want to accept that "frozen shoulder" diagnosis is a long process for healing. This was my reason for leaving the business. We had researched it back in June of 2015 and decided that Regents Park was by far the best Nursing Home to be found in South Florida and we were proven right. My father then got very ill in September of 2015 and there was no way he would be able to return back to his assisting living facility. My father ended up coming out of the hospital in November 2015 and after persistence on my part, Regents came and evaluated my father at a temporary nursing home and he was accepted immediately. It was the best thing that happened to him as well as the family. The staff was phenomenal with my Dad and I could not have asked for a better staff. They treated him and us as if we were part of their family. My mother and I spent months going every day to the nursing home. Not only were they interested in my father's well-being, but they were concerned for my mother and me as well. The nurses and CNAs made us feel very comfortable with my father's care. His normal routine nurses and CNAs were far beyond what I expected. They had fun with my Dad and he was so comfortable with them. Another plus is that the administrative staff explained everything to us. There was nothing that I was uncertain of as they explained thoroughly how all the financing worked. Although my Dad only stayed there for 6 months because he passed away last month, Regents Park made his last few months of life happy and for this I highly recommend Regents Park of Aventura for ANYONE who is looking for a great nursing home for their loved ones.

This is the best Christian-based treatment center that we have dealt with. After relapsing…read moreconsistently from a string of lousy treatment centers, our daughter is finally receiving the care she needs for her mental health condition, which drives her addiction. I can name ( but won't out of courtesy) at least 8-9 treatment centers in nearby cities over the past years that not only took our money and insurance money willingly but failed miserably to identify and treat her mental illness condition, which drives her addiction. As a parent with years of experience in the war for my daughter's life, the faith-based approach and expertise exhibited by JC's Recovery Center is the only one who is making a difference. I have been to the center and met all the staff therapists and the owner, and all have been working with our daughter personally. I can tell you ( not assume) that they are the ones who have gotten serious with their faith-based approach and focus on mental illness and addiction treatment that has been able to save her life. Finally, this is an answer to our prayers, and we have identified what we believe is the key to helping our daughter fight back by building her self-esteem, faith, and firm support. None of this existed in the bad treatment centers previously other than one located in central Florida and one in Parkland near Wray and they were very familiar with the work of JCs and its success stories, so it was logical when we obtained objective information from several credible sources that this was the next step. Before that, there were ones skilled in taking, money, failing the client's needs, stressing out the family, and even dealing drugs while painting a picture of success when it was only failure. Anyone has a right to their opinion, but examine the facts, not the fiction. The decision is yours as a parent, but we have had enough of some of the treatment centers I won't bother to name in nearby cities that should be shut down. Last week's visit to JCs to see her was the evidence we needed to know our daughter is finally in a safe place.

I received a $550 bill more than a year after my therapy sessions, even though I had unused visits for that year. This company needs to be responsible for getting issues with insurance handled correctly. Instead of doing that, they try to bargain you down so that you end up paying them out of pocket, in addition to them getting credit from your insurance. Then they hint at a possible deadline in sending the bill to collections, making it sound like they're doing you a favor by pausing that. I don't need the stress of getting therapy and then a year later getting a bill for their mistakes. Earn money the honest way- stop trying to scam your patients!

This is simply a scam network that exploits not only the American health insurance system, but also encroaches on the wallets of ordinary Americans. I've done 5 visits here so far…read more I've been seen and treated by both Dr. Mike Surdis and Dr. Cherry. Both do a fantastic job aligning your vertebrae to release pressure that has built up on your nerves. For me, the issue is my neck and lower back. My treatment plan consists of a 40 minute problem area massage with a massage therapist working with the soft tissues in my back and neck to achieve pain relief. The massage is not as thorough as others I've had at other offices. Next, is the quick stretch and about 20 minutes or so of electrotherapy with a therapist. Lastly is the manual adjustment with the doctor. The staff is friendly. Nice seating area with TV's and magazines. They also have complimentary coffee. The office is big with many treatment rooms. At times, you are sharing the room with another patient. I understand that they are a busy practice but the bathroom needs paint and some cleaning. I have been very happy with the latest treatment I received from Dr. Cherry. He always has time to check in on how you feel, how the last treatment worked and to address and discuss any concerns you may have. He is a great listener and has impeccable bedside manner.
