We are new to the area and have bought apples & honey here. Best apples I have had in a long time.

The Flat Rock Farmers Market is a special place…read more While in the surface, you'll find merchants selling various products and services that you'd expect at most farmer's markets around the United States, this one is slightly different. When you first arrive, take a look around. Take note of both the customers and proprietors. They all have something in common; these are your neighbors, friends, and perhaps even your family. And if they aren't, they soon will be. While there is a cornucopia of goods and services, there is no "anchors", meaning tables that are there every week. Instead, the tables and tailgates vary from weekend to weekend. You'll see everyone from a retired couple supplementing their income by selling cookies and slices of cake, to hippies offering the bounties of their gardens, to even a guy who sells seafood that he brought in fresh from the coast. Candles, freshly picked mushrooms, back massages, soups, sauces, pickles and so much more. I cannot say to stop by and check it out. Instead, set aside an hour, weekly, check out the goods & services, and make some new friends and family.

We had the biscuits and gravy, the smash burger, and several different lattes. Everything was excellent!!! Their market is a fun little place to visit. They've also got seasonal items and some kids items. We got some of their specialty sodas, and they were very yummy. An important note: Be aware that if you don't come early on Sunday, finding a parking spot will be difficult!

My husband & I biked the ecusta trail with our daughter and stopped by this spot on the way back. We got the smash burger but had to get it with gluten free bread since we can't have gluten, and it was probably one of the best burgers I've ever had! I absolutely love that they use no seed oils in this place. So tough to find! I was super excited to try the drinks with their house made flavors but they fell a bit flat for me. I got the strawberry basil matcha , and the matcha seemed watered down unfortunately. My husband got the toasted coconut latte and the drink fell flat for him as well. The atmosphere is beautiful & calm! Either way, we were happy to support local, go to a seed-oil free spot, and have drinks with housemade syrups! Could've just been a bad day for the barista. Looking forward to trying again!
