Well about five fire fighters arrived and were very nice and very prompt. I was offered cold water, it was very hot while waiting for triple A to approve the tow. They obliged and felt it was ridiculous as I did. Needless to say I appreciated their time and kindness and felt bad I was forced to call them to get approval my car was not leaking gas. About one week ago I truly thought that I was going to die. I had sudden difficulty breathing. It was very serious. I was in St Rose intensive care unit for three days.. This group of highly sophisticated and intelligent professionals were at my house within two minutes. Thank you so much to all of you that saved my life. Your career is so valiant. God bless all of you and your families. Yes, I do know you Beau but at the moment I could not think about anything except trying to survive. All of you are wonderful. This area that we live in is safe in part due to this group of life-saving professionals.

Called 311 this morning for assistance to replace two smoke detector batteries in a 16 foot ceiling…read moreas I have a bad knee and cannot climb the stated height. I stated I had the batteries and 16 ft aluminum ladder. The 311 person stated they would contact the nearest station that was not on a call. Within 15 minutes Station 95 arrived and replaced the two hard to reach detectors. The whole team was cordial and professional and completed the job very quickly. My hats off to our heros who protect our homes and business to ensure fire safety and any medical emergencies.

In less than 15 minutes a crew of four young men arrived and quietly, efficiently, and with care and kindness moved him to the first floor hospital bed. They then asked if there was anything more they could do to assist me. There wasn't, but the help when needed and the presence of the Station 83 crew is a bright memory in the midst of a trying time. I used them for 6 years on one commercial center and they were just okay - the headquarters and monitoring center is in Southern California and they are tied to Reno and Las Vegas offices, as well as others. I recently had my system inspected and THEY STOPPED MONITORING IN JUNE 2016 although I had been charged for all of 2016 and had a contract with them. It turns out the radio channels had to be changed and all the other companies told their customers and arranged (for a charge) to change the radios. They never told me and never reported the loss of signal from the location. For six months no one would have dispatched the fire department and I was in violation of my building insurance. When I found out - and replaced them - they admitted they hadn't bothered to notice the lack of monitoring for 6 months and offered a 3 month discount if I bought new radios and renewed with them! I made a number of calls and wrote a letter - I just got bounced from one office to another.
