NOOOOO.... they actually allow your body time to rest/relax/and resolve...then, return to make sure all the kinks are worked out! Adjustments take about 30-40 minutes, depending on how busy they are & cost $30 each at the moment (well worth EVERY penny)!! If timing allows, ask them to use the buffer on you. It hurts SO good :D
