Called this florist shop as I live out of town and was trying to place a delivery for a family member who just lost their husband and the woman on the phone was incredibly rude. She rudely corrected how I pronounced the town name as I am not from the area and then proceeded to tell me that they could "absolutely not do a delivery today as they have been delivering since 7AM." I called from out of state, trying to order flowers for delivery. To a sick friend in a 5 mile radius of the store. Spent 10 minutes placing the order on the phone with them. The woman was oddly rude to me, as I tried to spell out names and answer all the contact information. She read the order back. Perfect :) Ready to be sent. They called me back within minutes, aggressively saying they cannot cannot place my order and hung up. I called back inquiring why. The older woman said she won't do the order, doesn't want to disappoint "they aren't going there for a long time" .... and hung up again. Horrible service. Hope those women have a better day. read more

I've used Hendricks for years. Bernie is the most amazing woman. I love calling super early in the am and knowing she'll answer the phone, but really, all the employees are super helpful and kind. The best flower shop in the area, by a mile -- I've been ordering flowers from them for years & have never been disappointed. The arrangements are always lush and long-lasting, without a ton of filler and cheap blooms. The staff are kind and courteous and so accommodating. Today, in a total panic, I called to see if by some miracle I could have flowers delivered same day for my parents' anniversary--and I live on the West Coast, so my morning call was actually around noon for them. But this beautiful arrangement was delivered by 4pm! I cannot recommend Hendricks more!! read more

The service at this florist is outstanding. I spoke with the owner at 7 am when the shop opened one morning. My sister and I had each the other one had ordered a funeral arrangement after we had texted back and forth about what we wanted. In a panic, I talked with Ms. Hendricks and she accommodated us by delivering an extraordinary arrangement within hours that morning. Honestly, it was the most beautiful arrangement of yellow roses, hydrangea, sunflowers, and greenery that I have ever seen. Ms. Hendricks had told me that they are one of the last growers in the East Coast. The flowers were just so beautiful. They also designed the yellow rose wreath around the urn. Totally amazing place. Can not be more willing to please a customer. They also grow many flowers at the greenhouse. Over the years I have walked into Hendricks when they are swamped with prom corsages from various high schools. Of course I come with a crazy idea for my Derby Hat. They always greet you with a smile as if I am the most important person they have seen all day. In a short time I walk out with my hat all decorated. Being from a small town I always try to shop local. However, this time I feel I made a mistake. My daughter had her first homecoming as a freshman. We visited this shop and showed them a photo of a boutonnière she wanted. It was a white rose with pink filler. We paid the $15.90 for the Boutonniere The day of homecoming she picked it up only to be extremely disappointed. It was a white rose all right with nothing else. They told her the pink filler didn't come in. It was plain dull and boring. A simple phone call to let us know they weren't getting the filler and to ask what else we wanted would have been nice. We will not be returning here. It's sad because she has many more homecomings and proms seeing she is merely a freshman. read more
