Plenty of TVs to watch all the football! Staff was friendly and kept checking in on my group and refilling our waters and coffees. My food was good, I got a grilled cheese with sriracha fries which was very tasty and the perfect amount of spice. They opened the windows so plenty of fresh air came in which was perfect. Would definitely go back!

A long over due review for me of one of my favorite South Bay haunts. Hennessey's has been around more than 50 years and there is a reason they have been a part of the SouthBay so long. Whether it's Hennessy's Manhattan, Hermosa or Redondo you'll always feel the true vibe of a local Irish pub and that you're among friends. Today after a birthday brunch we headed to Hennessey's Redondo and sat out on the patio for a few cocktails before heading into sit at the bar after the sunset. One of the best things about Hennessy is the freshly squeezed the lemons and oranges for their drinks and they also know how to pour a proper pint of Guinness, which since they do pour the black stuff frequently it's always a fresh pint that tastes more like a proper creamy stout rather than a stale metallic taste, so you always know you're in good hands at Hennessey's. The bartenders are friendly and so is the wait staff. Though for today's visit we didn't eat, you can always get a good breakfast here and a decent burger (which by the way, two for Tuesday's buy a burger get one free is a great deal)!

This is my favorite location. I love having breakfast with my neighbors!! This place is open early and I can have a cold beer with my breakfast. The girls who work during the day have always been friendly and welcoming. They know my food and drink order most of the time. They have the best hamburgers, I actually really like the shepherd's pie and the steak and shrimp meal is an amazing deal!!

Wonderful service and ok food. Our server constantly checked up on us and she was incredibly helpful with suggestions or anything we needed. The food itself was just ok... the calamari had a weird kick to it and I might just not like french onion soup but it wasn't for me for sure. Our entrees were pretty good. They live music when we went on a Friday night and the performers were amazing.

I have been critical of Hennessey's in the past; however, lately they have turned it around. Good place for two for one Tuesday. Lively ambiance, good seating outside and inside. The burger of the month is always a good choice with your favorite beverage. Give it a try.

As others have already mentioned, the serving size and quality of the food has gone down while the prices continue to creep up but still one the best places to enjoy a salty, savory, spicy and refreshing Blood Mary! Come here to enjoy good drinks in a nice, casual, comfortable atmosphere. Quality of the food and service is location-dependent and I'd would rate the other two South Bay Beach locations a bit higher due to those variances

The coffee was served the milk we requested, but no sweetener or spoon. And it was cold. The server admitted it was a pot made in the morning, and it was served to us after 3pm. We ordered sandwiches and asked to substitute salads for the fries that came with them. Both were served with fries, but the server later brought me the salad. Kitchen mistake. And still no napkins or utensils. An adjacent table also had to request them. The bigger kitchen mistake was the black bean burger, which was more like a smashburger and sadly did not hold together. It was topped with what was supposed to be an "avocado poblano pepper" which was coated in fish and chips type batter and was at least 1-1/2 inches high. Maybe closer to 2". During our whole meal a staff member kept bringing other food to our table, and there was always confusion about which table ordered it. Through all this we don't blame the server at all. This was clearly a case of poor management and training from the kitchen to the table. It's a great location and in hindsight we realized that other spots were clearly busier. We ate outdoors and the inside tables were pretty much empty.

I'm partial to West Coast IPAs, and they have several excellent options, but the selection doesn't stop there. You'll find New England IPAs, porters, stouts, and everything in between. One of my personal favorites is the Milagro Nitro Stout. They even have "flavored water" like Modelo for those with questionable taste in beer. The atmosphere is welcoming and relaxed. It's the kind of place where you can bring your kids, meet friends, or simply unwind after work. The background music is usually classic rock played at a reasonable volume, so you can actually hold a conversation. Large TVs above the bar typically have sports on, adding to the laid-back vibe. The service is another reason I keep coming back. Both bartenders are absolute class acts--friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about the beer they serve.
