I spent $690 to talk to someone who could barely speak English, and I could not understand, and all they did was take the intake information again Left me zero time to ask any meaningful questions until I sent them a $10,000 retainer 100% felt like I was scammed $690 and there's nothing I can do about it because their lawyers just nasty I feel like if I pay $690 for one hour of your time I can at least get some meaningful information out of you. My boyfriend and I hired David Mudge to represent us for our case. During my boyfriends first…read moremeeting with Mr. Mudge, Mr. Mudge informed him that his case would be open and shut he had all the evidence required to gain primary custody of his son, and that a hearing would not even be necessary. He explained that we would get a voice of the child done. Mr. Mudge arrived to the first case conference unprepared. The initial case conference was scheduled for 15 minutes, it took over 45 minutes to conclude. By the end of the case conference Mr. Mudge was no longer requesting a voice of the child to be done, and was instead agreeing with the respondants counselor that it would not be necessary and instead we would need a two day hearing in order to conclude our case. He then explained to us that we did not have any evidence to support our affidavit, that which we did by form of child protective services report as well as numerous witness statements that he failed to disclose. His laid back approach to law is just another way of saying he is lazy and unprofessional. He does not adhere to a high professional standard. I will never recommend anyone to utilize him or this lawfirm. They are masters at manipulating and deceiving their clients.
