This place is great - far better than the Yelp reviews it's been getting. Their bagels (same as you get at their great sister restaurant, Lil's) are definitely different: light and airy but with a nice crust. If you prefer heavy, doughy bagels that, in a pinch, can do double duty as a boat anchor, these are not for you. My sandwich, the Maine-Talion, was delicious. Plenty of meat with good additions. Would have benefited from a bit of mayonnaise - will ask for it next time. The interior is bright, clean, nicely decorated and cheery. Chilled water available. Dispensed from a self-serve machine so it doesn't run out as often happens at Lil's. But watch out! It's tricky to stop the flow.

The bagel was good, but the veggie cream cheese tasted more like plain cream cheese. We also ordered an Italian. It's rather expensive, but when it was handed to me, it was really big. Unfortunately, it was mostly bread and a rather odd bread to serve as an Italian. I requested mayo and was told there's a dressing on the Italian. I requested the mayo on the side. I tried the Italian without mayo and could not taste any dressing. The bread definitely overwhelms the rest of the ingredients. I added the mayo, which made it a little better. It's not something I would buy, again, but it was good. The staff were nice.

A little bit pricey but worth it! The Maine Maple sandwich was so delicious like a fancy McGriddle. The bagels are crunchy on the outside and chewy on the inside, not all dense and bready like other bagel places. My friend ordered the veggie breakfast sandwich, and it looked great with a generous amount of avocado. Our cold brews were fantastic as well. I will definitely go back.

I had high hopes for this place since I love Lil's, but maybe today was just an off day. We got two sandwiches to bring to the beach: Italian and turkey avocado BLT. The turkey was $2 extra, when I opened the sandwich I found the bread was very dark and overcooked and there was no turkey. It was also mostly lettuce and bread. The Italian was good. Our friends got the chicken salad bagel sandwich and was surprised to find no lettuce or tomato on it.

Stopped by for grand opening to buy a dozen bagels to bring north for the weekend. The place was mobbed which is awesome. Looked like a full sandwich menu. No prices or for bagels by the dozen. I went order and was told the limit was 8 for the day, no worries. Service was fast. I got assorted bagels and a plain and veggie cream cheese which came to just shy of $60 ...... a bit pricey. Bagels are huge and felt very light. I toasted one up today. Bagels are huge was airy and light no real traditional bagel crust on exterior. Inside it was very light and full of holes. It was very good but not like a traditional NY bagel, more of a sandwich type bagel. I will be back to try the pastrami sandwich for sure.

Great service, good food. We had the Greek salad and turkey sandwich. Clean seating area.

The chili dog is SO good and the chili itself deserves its own fan club honestly. Everything tastes fresh, messy in the best way, and exactly what you want from a retro burger spot. The vibe is half the fun too -- I swear they added even more games since the last time I came. It feels like a hidden little retro hangout where you can eat comfort food and actually have fun while you're there. Definitely one of those places that becomes a regular spot fast. Total hit every single time.

Burger patties are wicked thin, fries are just some plain, frozen crap and the shake had a bizarre cookie coating around the top. Not the edge/rim, the whole like, 1/4 top of the cup was coated in crumbs.. which got everywhere and made it inedible and impossible to put in a cup holder if you wanted to bring it home with you. Just so weird. It's also just gross in there in general. To be honest, all of that would be forgivable if the staff were at least the slightest bit nice. They are all so incredibly rude. They are young and I get that Covid ruined their formidable socialization years, but it's actually crazy how awful they are. Can't even get them to crack a smile or a "thank you". Sorry, not to be a boomer, but if I'm spending 55 bucks on two burgers some fries and a shake, I'd like some good customer service. Definitely save your money. There are lots of other options in the area.

Made a pit stop here on our way to Portland. We'd come here years ago for just the bakery so wanted…read moreto check out the pizzeria after seeing so many great reviews. Plenty of lot parking so that's always a plus. We walked in on Friday for lunch and it was fairly full but we were seated quickly and orders taken. Very rustic ambience and service was quick. Unfortunately, the food was just ok and didn't knock my socks off. We ordered the Brussel sprouts, pork belly steam buns and the margherita pizza. Brussels were fried nicely but the ginger sesame sauce was very strong and I would probably preferred the sauce on the side. Pork belly buns were just ok as well. We were here for the pizza so were excited to try it - pizza unfortunately was just ok as well. Food is subjective and always based on preference so please take this review with a grain of salt - pizza was a bit doughier than I'd like - I prob should've asked for it to be well done if even possible and the sauce tasted heavy on the oregano - not something I'm a big fan of. All in all - not bad but not great. I just had such high expectations - maybe a different pizza might've changed my mind. But def don't skip out on going next door to try some samples and get some bread - the bread is amazingly delicious.

My wife was visiting a friend near by and my brother in law recommended we go here for pizza…read more Well it was a good recommendation for many reasons. First one was that there is plenty of parking. And plenty of outdoor seating for when the weather allows that. When we first got in the hostess told me it would be about 10 minutes, but we were welcome to sit and look at the menu till they called us for the table. It was only a 5 minute wait and at first I was surprised we couldn't just be served at the large high table at the entrance where we were seated and waiting which looked like it was for several parties or even one large party, but even when we were leaving that table was empty so I guess they either save it for a very large party or just for people to sit at while they wait for their table like we did. Either way we didn't wait long so that didn't bother me as I thought it might at first. When we were seated, service was extremely fast, so fast that at first I thought they just want us out. :p but they are just that good. And our waitress brought me my soda without ice which many servers forget and would get me a refill before I was even done with the soda and even asked if we wanted water as soon as we sat and bright us some. When the food arrived (which as I mentioned was extremely fast even though the place was packed), everything was amazing. We started with shrimp and the Brie which were in the specials. Shrimp was fresh and you could really tell, and the Brie had a nice assortment of apple slices, almond slices, bread and cranberries making it feel like you were also having a healthy meal with your pizza and fried food :p. We had the truffle mushroom pizza and the only complaint my mother had was that it had onions and rocket which she didn't like on the pizza, but that was her fault for not reading it on the menu as we could have easily just asked for it not to have that. She just saw truffle, mushrooms and ricotta cheese and said im having that. Which was what I wanted too but I was ok with everything else too. Well we both enjoyed it and I even took the left over pizza to have for dinner later :). I don't live nearby, but it is a place I would recommend to others who go by there and when we come near here again I know where to go eat if I'm in the mood for pizza. The only complaint is that it was too loud for us, almost felt like a sports bar without the sports tvs playing everywhere, however they do have take out as well, so you do have that option too if you live nearby.
