I ask Autopro if they can give me an appointment to fix it. The "specialist" of the place, whom I will call Bozo, tell me. "I give an appointment if I can do the work." So he looks at the car and say. "Yes, I can do it. Be there Thursday at 8:30 am". Thursday I was there. The big expert looks at the car another time and said... "I can't do the work. I need few parts. I will order them". (Why then did he say before that he could do the work?) Few days pass without news. I went back to the garage. " Faster than a telephone call... So what about the parts?" I ask the man. "It looks like they weren't on the back order, he said. But I take care of it". Ah ah ! I said for myself. Three more days. Bozo calls me. "The pieces have arrived." I show up for my third appointment and wait 35 minutes lucky me that I had an appointment. A real pleasure, when you know that I am disabled... And here comes the expert again. "We have the pieces but they are not the right size. I have to buy them somewhere else. Leave me your car. It will be done tomorrow. Take our courtesy car to go home". I must emphasize that during all these "game" Bozo did not apologize once. So I hit the road with the courtesy car... And, 25 kilometers further I run out of gas. Can an expert forgot to check the fuel level before lending the vehicle to a customer? I admit that rather annoyed by Bozo's irresponsible attitude I had not looked to see if the tank was full, but my mistake was that after all is nonsense I still trust the clown. Results : It cost me $ 75 of towing, 2 hours lost, on the side of the road, in the cold ... Summary: 4 trips to the garage give 120 km with my car and 30 with the loaned one. That is: $15 worth of gasoline. So, the Autopro garage in Alexandria? Forget it. Instead, go to Tim Horton's "Service à l'auto", you will have better service and at least a full stomach, if not the tank of the car. Gilles Dubois a new, and already former Autopro customer.

I brought in my 2020 Toyota Corolla at the Toyota Hawkesbury garage for a regular scheduled…read moremaintenance stop; it had 38,000 kilometers on it, worked absolutely perfectly (hey, it's a Toyota!) and was running as silent as the first day I'd purchased it when it was brand new. Once the regular maintenance work was performed, I picked up my vehicle and the VERY INSTANT, the VERY EXACT SECOND that I put my car into Drive mode on the Toyota lot, there was a noticeable "WHOMP-WHOMP" grinding sound emanating for both of my back tires. I had NEVER, E-V-E-R noticed this sound, either faint or otherwise, prior to bringing it in on that day. Bear in mind that I'd driven my vehicle for 38,000 kilometers without ANYTHING going wrong with it and, yet - and this bears repeating - the VERY INSTANT -- the IMMEDIATE SECOND that I shifted my car into "Drive" after having it serviced at the Hawkesbury Toyota garage, this ghastly sound emanated from both back tires. I was told that I needed a new and complete brake job. Coincidence? You decide.
