My daughter worked with a tutor before Arasp and he did not do a good job of teaching her pre-calc, he showed her how to solve the problems but didn't teach it to her. Arasp really teaches and helps her understand every step. It seemed as if she would never catch on until she started working with Arasp. He really does a wonderful job and I would recommend him to anyone needing help with math.

At playtime, the teachers will have the new kid to pick someone to be a partner. During the playtime, partnered kids will have to stick together (to play). Every day, kids pick a different partner. This in turn, helped my daughter transitioning very well. They School has Yoga class and Music class once a week. The kids go to the garden and plant vegetables in Spring and harvest in Fall. Once a year, they have International Fest, Music Fest, Yoga Demonstration, Children's Thanksgiving Feast, etc..Despite the fact of lacking social interactions, this is a true learning environment. You won't see kids screaming or shouting here. I see kids as young as three here, behaving properly and learning to be independent. I arrange play dates, go to park, do swimming, and gymnastic for my kid's social and physical. For the past years, my daughter has thrived. She sounds out words, she is calmer, and she learned dinosaurs, the continents, and the solar system at age four. The quality of education and learning experience my daughter has been received is extraordinary. I feel safe leaving my child there every day and I truly believe that they have my child's best in mind.

It has made such an impact on his on his life. He is so much more structured in his ways of life...and he is only 9. His first year at Veritas was great and he had a phenomenal teacher. I joked with that teacher, Mr. Haley, about him being Kai's teacher every year. It's also nice that parents get many volunteer opportunities so you can engage with your child and his/her class. That kind of engagement even help change my life and gave me weekly volunteer opportunities to be a part of with the children. On another note, it is also very neat that the school also just made a plethora of renovations and added a high school. It's wonderful to such forward progress so fast. I can only imagine what the future holds for this incredible school. I think it's great that the children have to wear uniforms and adhere to a strict appearance policies. Veritas is a classical academy so it really try to enforce that in everything. Not only are "normal" subjects taught like match and science, students choose between Greek and Latin, they read classic novels, learn and practice different genres of art, and they partake in Healthy Hearts. It is a really impressive curriculum. Also, the the extra-curricular activities are amazing: there's ballroom dancing, chess club, running club, sportball, just to name a few. I highly recommend Veritas to any parent who is looking for a well-structured, well-rounded, classical way of teaching. I have already referred many of our family friends to the school and they have set up appointments for next school term. If you have a child, I recommend you do too!

Christ the King Catholic School has been amazing for our son. He attended one of the best public…read moreelementary schools in Mesa Zito Ishikawa because of where we live but their academic curriculum was extremely repetitive and unchallenging. To make matters worse he was competing all over the country in Quarter Midget racing for a National Title and fighting with the school tooth and nail all the way. The administration didn't care because of his absences to compete even though his grades were perfect, all A's, work completed early before we left, and every extra credit assignment offered throughout the year completed. His teacher was amazing, but the principle and the administration only cared about his but in their seat. So, we looked for a more challenging school that had value in academic excellence and an understanding of keeping a schedule with his training and racing regiment and boy did we find it in CTK! CTK listened to his wishes to be able to compete and to have his school behind his racing aspiration and we worked out a solid plan together. When he came in, he was behind their 3rd grade level but within 6 hard weeks he caught up and never looked back. There is a ton of love and inspiration with the entire staff at this school unequivocally. If you want your child to have solid American values at school centered around Christ with a ultra-demanding curriculum to prepare them for a solid college preparatory school we have found the place. Without a doubt his workload is very demanding, but the results have been astonishing with 3rd and 4th grade now. 5 Stars for sure.
