With very little notice we were dropped as patients because the physician chose to go with conviva and they no longer were able to take our Blue Cross Blue shield insurance. I can say personally that it took me a long time in order to trust my physician and I finally was able to manage that with these doctors. I had a wonderful relationship with Dr Laura Soler and now I feel cheated out of the medical care that my husband and I deserve. However, because of this doctor's greed, we were forced to find another doctor. The problem then was that all the doctors in Portland Texas had very long waiting lists in order to become a new patient. Due to our medical needs, we were unable to wait on the waiting list that these other doctors required. My husband and I are both on multiple prescription medications and the only place that we were able to find was bridgepoint family medicine that is run by nurse practitioners. LeWe are now having to get sent out on referrals for all of our problems because the nurse practitioners are unable to manage our needs. We are now having to pay a lot more money out of pocket for our medical needs because now we are being required to see multiple different specialists to manage our needs. If I could give this company less than the one star rating at this time I would. I have to say it again that it was extremely disappointing on how we were no longer good enough to be patients at this office.

A+ rating to the Island Medical Office NP and staff and I personally recommend Martinez Medical which I believe does have (5) area coastal bend locations. Their in-house lab and diagnostic services is a bonus but think about trusting your care with a professional team that truly has your best interest. Most insurances is accepted but also cash pay services which serves everyone and anyone!! I am so happy that I did schedule my annual exam with Dr Mario Martinez MD & team.

I am glad I saw Dr. Sahadi for a second opinion. He told me there was a little cataract and I could have it removed when I was ready but there was no rush.
