They are good value, for food excluding drinks is £20 for £23 per person depending upon the options chosen. This is for them to come with the food delivery, a range of appetisers, mains and deserts, show how to warm up and other things like catering staff are also available if wanted. I also chose for them to supply cutlery which their sub contractor takes back dirty and washes themselves. When so many other catering companies rip off by inflating the prices for things that do not actually cost them anything, it is nice to deal with good honest people Monica's catering was helpful, reliable and eager to please. The food is as great as home cooked food, the salmon pastries were commented on by loads of the guests and the prawn appetisers were amazing. When by mistake I could not be home to accept the delivery from the cutlery suppliers and also for their collection. Monica's catering kindly allowed them to drop it off at their kitchen and they brought the cutlery with the food, likewise they collected the dirty cutlery with the empty food stuffs as well. I am very pleased that I was recommended Monica's caterering, will definitely do when I next have a party. They are the kind of people that invoke that good feeling, which means I have also recommended them to my friends as well

Disappointed by quality of service given image portrayed and cost. PRE-EVENT Charming and friendly in the planning stages. Very flexible as our vision for the day changed substantially. Good on email as bride was planning from abroad. Open to multiple visits from family members and taste testing sessions. Gave reassurance to bride's family at a stressful time. EVENT DAY Delivered on some but not all of the pre-agreed plan. Failed to pick up on things that would seem like the staple jobs of catering company. Major error on food labeling. Waiting staff unenthusiastic about delivery. Set up quickly and efficiently. Food quality was good (guests enjoyed the spice) but mixed up the labels for the meat and vegetarian biriyani, and bride's lifelong vegetarian friend took meat by mistake. Staff unhelpful in correcting this mistake. Not all starters were presented in the way that had been agreed. Waiters not great at topping up glasses in champagne reception or putting wine on tables at dinner, as agreed, so lots of empty glasses while people were eating. Not enough clean plates for guests to take main course. Lights not switched on where guests were eating main course. Bar well-run, with additional flexibility of staying open for longer, requested by the groom on the night. But did not bring out some of the spirits until an hour before the end. POST-EVENT Attempted several times to communicate review privately over email to Shaziana, with various holding responses, but no formal explanation of the issues raised. Hopefully a response should follow on Yelp. We leave it to the reader to make an informed decision based on this review, and the subsequent response.

Their innovative way of serving street and international food was adored by all, yet none of the authentic flavours of the Pakistani or Middle Eastern cuisine was sacrificed for aesthetics. The staff was amenable and attentive and Saqib had a watchful eye over the whole proceedings. The interface between client and service provider was proficiently carried out by Samira who left nothing to chance and diligently documented all our wishes and then expedited them promptly. Instead of the vegetables AND 3 salads we were promised, we got a bowl of lettuce, a bowl of potato salad amd a bowl of green bean salad. The waiters were continually filling up glasses of wine when without asking if people wanted a top up (this was a lunchtime do and most people were driving). The service was OK, but not as good as I expected from a company I heard such great things about. We definitely did not get the feeling of being "looked after". AND TO TOP IT OFF I WAS GIVEN THE INVOICE AT THE VENUE AND ASKED IF THEY SHOULD USE THE CARD I HAD GIVEN THEM FOR THE DEPOSIT. I found this to be really inappropriate as we were not at a restaurant and I expected a degree of discreetness about this. I would not use them again to cater for any of my events in the future. From setting up the tables, serving the food, clearing away and ensuring everyone was looked after. We received many favourable comments/compliments at the wedding and since about the quality and presentation of the food provided by Relish (canapés, wedding breakfast and evening buffet). Relish also provided a cash bar during the evening and prices charged were reasonable. We had several comments (and I believe it was actually mentioned in one of the speeches) that this was the best wedding food our guests have every experienced. I would take that further and say this was food I would happily pay for in a nice restaurant; which isn't a claim one would make about even the best of wedding food much of the time. Working with Mark was easy and fun. I don't know that I'm likely to have other big events that require catering any time soon, but if I did, I'd call these guys and you should too!

Canapes to start with plenty of prosecco and drink to get you going, and then 3 fun, interactive and insightful classes into how to cook a 3 course meal. Ours included a tortellini dish with fresh pasta, a chicken butchering class and making ballantines out of the thigh, and then a quick lesson in tempering chocolate and making a fancy chocolate tear. Plenty of ideas to take away for home dinner parties, and the venue does a brilliant job of balancing both social aspects of these classes and the more informative and learning parts. Would highly recommend for parties, celebrations or corporate events! They also send you the recipes afterwards for you to keep! Note: you don't cook the full meal, you only learn how to prepare key parts of it and they tell you how they will cook it later. The focus here is on the preparation aspects of a meal, and letting you guys socialise and enjoying the night instead of slaving over a stove!!

We had a delicious dinner for five on a cold December day. As my partner does not eat fish usually we have to avoid fish restaurants, but on seeing the creations of the talented chef, we decided to take the punt and it actually paid off! . We therefore were able to enjoy excellent fresh fish and seafood and kept Eliza happy too. All our guests were really impressed by the presentation & Style of the Chef - He also recommended which wine to buy too. We definitely recommend the service to anyone, as its a very reasonable price for hosting a dinner party whilst enjoying it as well. We will definitely do something similar with Chef Ashley & Morel Catering for Eliza's coming Birthday David Roy
