Its great that there are plenty of buses that take you to and from the University as although the surrounding area is beautiful, it is in the middle of nowhere and it's a bit of a walk but the 25, 34 and 35 atop here among other. The actual grounds of the university though is a long stretch of road with buildings with names like James Nasmyth building, David Brewster building and Mary Burton building among others. Also on the grounds is a cafe, a chaplaincy, a sports arena and a health centre, a hotel nearby as well as a loch but I haven't come to see all that, I came to see the James Watt statue which sits grandly at the main entrance of the University and rightly so. read more
