I found this when I was suffering with an acute case of poison ivy rash and called and scheduled an appointment with the nurse practitioner only to receive a return call stating they would not see me. This is a poor policy. It is also a missed opportunity for the provider to catch up with their clients who have not been seen for a period of time. Again no problem with the physicians but most likely Kettering Network not caring for health, rather finances. I ended up seeing a physician via Virtual Visit and was provided with treatment even before the original appointment time I was originally given. If you turn away patients in need I suggest providing them with this information.

Plus if your his parent in rhe hospital he he even made rounds on sundays. This man is so patient and kind. Most drs dont even sit down and gave their hand on door indicating lets keep this brief. That is the way of new Healthcare. But not this dr... he makes you feel like you're his only priority. Downside is he runs late often and by alot. Because hes at the hospital alot and hes very thorough with his patients. I really like him and highly recommend if your flexible about time.

Imagine the focused care you'll receive. I feel as if I now have a partner focused on helping restore and maintain my health rather than a relative stranger giving me their best guess from a few clues. I was a bit of a wreck when I first visited IFC. Although I have a way to go I now view my health and prospects for preserving it much better than I may ever have.

Dr Stan never rushes you out the door and looks you in the eye the entire visit. Sometimes, there is a wait to be seen, but that is because he gives individual attention to each patient. they have a lab, X-ray, and various other equipment in the office as well, so saves a lot of time. This was my first trip to a doctor's office in over a year, and until I was diagnosed with…read morediabetes, I NEVER visited one unless I was having very painful symptoms. I never got physicals (which I still won't), and never submitted to the recommended exams that men should get when we see age fifty in the rear view mirror. That being said, I didn't know what to expect when I arrived there as a new patient last Friday, but I was very intimidated. I was quite certain they would press me to undergo various examinations that I'd never had done, and in fact the very thought of them had literally made my skin crawl. (So I never will submit to them, and I'll deal with whatever consequences may befall me because of it). Exactly why I'm so adamant regarding this is beyond the scope of this review --- however it's well within in it to say that, although some of these procedures were recommended by the nurse and doctor, when I said "no", that was the end of it. And when I told the doctor that I also had gender preferences (requirements, actually) with respect to examinations, I was told they could accommodate me there also. I felt that was very respectful and it helped to ease my anxiety. About the only negative thing was that when I called to make my first appointment, I was given the names of two available doctors --- and of course I knew nothing about either one. Only when I asked, did they tell me that one of them was a female. I don't allow examinations by females, so if I had unwittingly selected one and hadn't realized it until I'd arrived to my appointment --- I'd have been very upset and would've likely been back to square-one regarding my treatment for what was then uncontrolled diabetes. But that issue was thankfully circumvented, and overall my visit to Family Practice Associates went very well!

I was sent here by my primary care physician after having much more than an "immune response" to my…read morefirst covid vaccine. She wanted me to get checked out just in case. This is a newer building and part of the very nice UC West Chester campus. There is "ideally" plenty of parking, although it is very busy so it might take a few mins, allow for extra time. I was immediately greeted upon entering the main lobby by a woman asking about my covid exposure etc. They then tag you with a red or green sticker and you may proceed on. The people at the eventual office I came here for were so kind and helpful, I was very impressed. I was able to check in contactlessly via my UCHealth MyChart. I did not have to fill out any new paperwork as they utilized it all from there. Wait time was less than 5mins. I was tested while I was here which was easy and painless. The results (neg YaY) appeared in MYChart within 24hrs!! Luckily this was just an adverse event and everyone took great care of me!
