He said that they must have sold him a factory blemished and was going to call the company and make it right. Unfortunately, at this point I already gave him the deposit for a NEW furnace and ac unit previously days ago. Otherwise, I would have sent him home then honestly. He knew it wasn't a new unit and lied to my face about it. He finished roughly 80% of of an entire job of converting our boiler system to forced air lp. Unfortunately, an addition of our house caught fire and was considered a total loss. Jd never once offered to compensate us back for not finishing the job and for materials that he never used when he bid the job, due to the fire. After the fire, I called and texted him for 3 months trying to get him to send me these rebate forms for the furnace and digital thermostat he installed. After leaving a truthful, but rude message, he finally texts me pics of the form I have to send in for the rebates and says "email them to yourself". I was promised many times that they were sent and must have been lost or sent to wrong address. Then it was he was having email issues and couldn't email them to me. Afterwards, I had concerns about how to properly clean the grate, as there was no accessible panel. A representative from Bob's confirmed that the grates are not removable and advised using a product called Nu-Calgon Evap Foam No Rinse to clean the condensing coil. Earlier this year, Matthew's Heating & Cooling inspected and cleaned my furnace. They determined that the condensate drain had not been installed in a workmanlike manner and strongly advised against using the cleaning product mentioned above (see attached report). To date, we have identified at least two furnaces that experienced this same issue. I scheduled a meeting with the condo board president and a representative from Bob's Heating. No one from Bob's showed up for the meeting. I would urge any resident living at Richmond Terrace to use another vendor when replacing their furnace.

Other companies gave us long lead times to get the furnace fixed or replaced. Tom from Gerondale Heating came out to check our furnace that same evening. He showed me the issue and said we either needed a burner replacement or a new furnace. The old furnace was undersized and a replacement, for a little more money, gave us a proper size and a 10 year warranty. We opted for the new furnace, and Tom Jr. brought one up from Green Bay and had it completely installed and working properly by noon the next day. Great service, great product and friendly people as well!
